Getting close to Bonny Blue flag time. Trump should have done a lot of things but he didn’t know the depth or depravity he faced. No one did at the time. We were living in a fools paradise. Now we know the TRUTH—we are Peasants to a power hungry aristocracy of wealth and corruption. If nothing else he exposed them. Thanks Mr. Trump for that —Now its up to the people to set things right.

I think the bigger problem was whatever swamp he drained he refilled with his own swamp creatures and black water.
Ironically, you just named two areas (economy and judges) where he was most in line with the GOPe.
Regardless, it’s not an either/or. One can appreciate what he did with the economy pre-2020 and with the judges and still think he’s not the best man for the job at this point based on where he failed.
..can you name one area that you claim he failed that you think ANY other Repub would have done better? That’s a challenge!

Probably not.
But it’s not 2016 and the choice isn’t between Trump and one of them. The choice is between Trump, who bungled COVID and draining the swamp and someone like DeSantis who has done a bang up job in FL in the areas where Trump failed.
Trump isn’t the only option this time and, honestly, his performance in 2020 is largely disqualifying, at least in the primary when we have at least one better candidate.
