Fine. Started with a sore throat (2-3 days), then cold + flu symptoms - achy muscles, lost appetite, run-down feeling. I never ran any temperature! Not for an hour. No lung congestion. No sneezing. No runny nose. No diminished blood oxygen. I did a home test (positive) and went to Urgent Care the next day (confirmed). Doc gave me a 5-day round of Paxlovid; I was at either Day 5 or Day 6 after first symptom. I think it helped.
It interfered with my sleep. I use a CPAP machine and was getting terrible scores. I was having trouble getting much more than five hours of sleep.
All good now (been over it about 10 days) except I get periodic touch of sore throat and feel blah. But it hasn’t relapsed. I read a lot about relapses, but so far, so good
Why would people wear masks when it is not Halloween?
I’m in rural Texas-there were very few people who wore a mask at all, even in the beginning. I kept a package of them in my truck in case I had a customer who insisted I wear one, but that only happened once.
The nearest town is 18 miles away from me-the small grocery store there as well as the ranch store, hardware store, etc never insisted on masks-I did have a masked Karen glare at me once in the grocery store, but she kept her mouth shut. No way is anyone going to mask or shut down here for any reason-and almost no one out here is vaxxed, either-many of the kids are homeschooled or at the small private school that never asked for vaxxes or masks anyway-there are only about 20,000 people in this whole county-and we’re not going for any of that bull****...

Surely the Democrat deep state isn’t stupid enough to dredge up the “same old covid” from 2020-2022 and attempt to reimpose lockdowns, muzzles, and vaccine passports based merely on that.
I fear the elites have something far more sinister: a much deadlier Chinese biological weapon they’re calling a “covid variant,” whether it actually is another genetically engineered coronavirus, or a completely different disease altogether.
The talking heads will blame the proletariat refusing lockdowns, muzzles, and vaccines, starting with the Canadian trucker protests, for “causing” this “super covid” that really is as deadly as bird flu, plague, smallpox, etc.
