6th thru 10th grade, few windows. The there were plenty of cracks in the floor above the crawl space. The other grades and college, still no AC, but the windows and doors did open.
No wonder we never learned we could have 2 mommies. Packing a brown bag lunch depended on the temperature with 1 mommy. Peanut butter any time. Not so much some other ingredients.
The news cycle is often between local and national news. Maybe when Congress is not in session to blow hot air, there is a need to focus on more spending for local schools.
I can remember well how our Alinksky group that wanted news was careful to plan out events to beat out other stories.
I assume the same is true of education, congress, most everyone... both good and bad news....when others were too busy to notice bad news.... or bored and open to fictitious news.
Hot teachers are more of a threat
