I transferred my property to my son many years ago, but kept a Life Estate. Perhaps Trump did the same.

BREAKING UPDATE: Eric Trump Confirms to The Gateway Pundit: “Mar-a-Lago Has Not Been Sold or Transferred in Any Regard”
By Jim Hoft Aug. 25, 2023 10:00

“In a recent statement, Eric Trump has cleared the air regarding rumors surrounding President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago property. Claims had been circulating that the former President had transferred or sold his renowned Palm Beach estate, but these reports have now been firmly debunked.

Eric Trump spoke out to clarify the ownership status of Mar-a-Lago.

This is pure FAKE NEWS and Zillow has corrected their listing. Mar-a-Lago has not been sold or transferred in any regard,” Eric Trump told The Gateway Pundit.

Oh, brother. A very typical transaction given Trumps age you turn into a gleeful negative. I’m thinking he is worried he will be lilked and having the property already in DJr name saves time in case he is murdered by a Trump hating loon. Sound familiar?

Interesting. More palace intrigue. Zillow has claimed all along the info came from the county courthouse, so that now needs to be resolved as to what actually did, or did not, happen. Thanks.

Those speculations are nothing new. And Trump’s ability to manage all this calamity at once has affect on us all.

I only said I'm trying to protect conservatism from whiny populism.

You're a couple of decades late, but it wasn't populism that killed the conservative movement, it knifed in the back by its supposed "elected leaders". For decades, the base would work the phones, knock on doors, send their donations, and vote, because our "conservative" politicians sounded good during the campaign, but would then go to Washington and vote for more taxes, open borders, gun grabs, everything they said they opposed when they were talking to us rubes in the base.

Trump, for all of his flaws, is the first politician in my lifetime who actually tried to do what he said he would do during his campaign. Some people still cling to "muh conservative principles", or at least pretend to, but there's no more political appetite for that.

Now it's America First, and if you want to call that populism, so be it. The current ethos reminds me a lot more of the feisty Goldwater veteranos who were the heart and soul of the conservative movement, who fought hard and never gave up. The difference being, those good souls mostly bought the lies they were being told by their "leaders", whereas the current MAGA/America First movement *knows* that the Republican establishment is every bit as much of an enemy as the media, Democrat Party, and the academe.

Conservative, Inc. has been pining for the fjords for a while now.

and you sell it for less than market value,

Any proof he sold it for less than market value at $422,000,000?

I would think that $422,000,000 > $5,000,000 and who says $422M isn’t fair market value for Mar a Lago?

Trump attempted to reign in government... and was opposed by mccarthy, mcconnel, ryan, who have been the face of the entrenched ‘republican’ party, and in control for decades...

So Trump hasn’t had much support in congress for his agenda.

But he did have to endorse certain people, to maintain an image of kum ba ya within the republican party, to continue to attempt to get his agenda passed.

So you complain Trump endorsements are bad....

But you continue to support the Trump endorsed desantis...

If you are sincere in your posts I am sorry for you because I think you have lost your way. My real sorrow is for America who is being betrayed by the uni-party and all those people who savage the man who has done the most to save and revive her.

“Populism”; The horrifying concept that the majority should get their way within the framework of a Constitutional Republic, rather than deferring to their “betters” who want to do something else.

In a UVTA claim, selling for lower than market value is only one of 11 factors that the court would look at. It isn’t a written in stone element of a UVTA. Eric Trump has broken the news that the “news of the sale” was bogus anyway, and Zillow has removed that page from the net

You explain to me the other viable paths instead of bloviating. What part of uniparty obstruction do you fail to comprehend? Should Trump have fallen on the sword of no compromise with deep state on his first day of office? his second day of office? What part of perfection is the enemy of the good are you missing. Pragmatism, drive, tenacity & love of the Country & the Constitution are what count.

Trump held in there, held his nose, did his best to move the ball down the court and swallowed the “dog dirt” he needed to to get the best he could for America and the American people.
Accomplishments included reforming the VA, highest employment numbers in every group ever posted, biggest gross tax cut, resupplied the ilitary, revitalized the trade deals, the manufacturing sector and much more:

If I recall correctly (and it’s been a few decades since the divorce), Donald and Ivana either both ended up with part ownership of Mar-a-lago, or were entitled to equal use of the family quarters there during the resort season.

So if there was a sale, it probably couldn’t have happened before Ivana Trump’s death.
