Then over a weekend, agreed to a deal with the left, to a 2 year deal to increase the debt ceiling and deficit by 10’s of trillions....
And the ‘republicans’ in both the house and senate mostly voted for it

McCarthy’s no conservative, and it’s thanks to Trump that he’s Speaker now. Trump endorsed every one of these people who have blocked most all the attempts at reducing government in Congress - McConnell, McCain, even Romney, some of them multiple times. So conservatives aren’t tied to those phonies, like Trump is. He helped put them there.
