the darkly dyed wool has been pulled over your eyes.
All your DNA belong to them
I recognize the reason why people are skeptical to get DNA tests. Even though I used a fake name and prepaid credit card it is clear through 23andme it is pretty easy to link up who you are if any close relatives have used the service
HOWEVER, genetic tests through 23andme and then a whole genome test on all my genes has been KEY in discovering a host of issues that I have that no doctor had figured out on their own.
So it is a balance that each person has to consider. Privacy versus medical issues.
And I will adamantly say that if anyone has had issues with drugs they should ask their Doctor about P450 issues. The cheapest way to figure this out is getting a test from a place like Nebula and then uploading DNA to Genetic Genie. It will pull up many things you may need to know....especially if you have cancer.
23andme has helped me try to figure out where some of my rare issues came from by matching a section on my chromosome that is problematic. Certain conditions and drugs may react differently depending on where that defect came from..such as Asian versus Northern European. You may not release that your defect came from Asian ancestors because you had no idea you had any.

Also, if you have had a problem with a drug you can start your search to figure out why by looking at this site. Don’t expect your Doctor to be able to answer questions once you think you have figured it out. You may need a Clinical Pharmacologist.

I don’t know where things currently stand on the male DNA showing up in women who have been pregnant (or the claim about just having unprotected sex can change the DNA in a woman) but here is a study where they are indicating it could be in the brain.
I suspect there are many things that change your DNA that are still not well understood

I never thought about it until your post, but I wonder how many, if any, murders have occurred because someone discovered some hidden secret through the DNA services and flipped out.

This is so silly. The govt doesn't give a damn about this crap. Articles like this are just conspiracy theory porn for morons. The fact is, nobody cares about your ancestry or your "health history" or your "inclination to follow orders" (whatever the hell that means). Some of you people need to get over your delusions of grandeur.
Make no mistake about it…your DNA can be taken and entered into a national DNA database if you are ever arrested, rightly or wrongly, and for whatever reason

Doesn’t the military do that too now? They only got my blood type and finger prints but that’s so “last century”.
I shook hands with a little old lady in church and she accidently scratched the back of my hand.
The first thing that popped into my mind was, “great, now she’s got my DNA under her finger nails, if somebody murders her, I’m a goner.”
“never had a covid test”
I was forced to prior to hip replacement surgery. If not for that, I never would take the test.
WoTS up what that? Why do you think there's so many bio-labs targeting populations of humans with the goal of targeting individuals with their DNA among those with similar DNA? Where were those mice destined to go that were found in the illegal Chinese bio-lab recently found in CA?
WoTS = Words of The Stupid
“Not if you did the ‘at home’ test.”
I never would do a home test. They’re as big a scam as WuFlu was/is. Also, I don’t trust what’s on the swabs you stick up your nose.
The harvesting I referred to was when someone is FORCED to have a test, which I was prior to surgery. Besides your DNA, they have all your demographic and medical info wrapped up in a nice little package. I’m still pissed about that.
How long will we be able to trust the DNA labs?
Hot coffee, a good healthy dump, and at least two felonies before 8am.
“If you don’t want to voluntarily provide your DNA, it’s been harvested via Covid tests.”
Between Medicare and our health insurance carrier, we received a total of 12 covid test kits. They were rapidly dispatched to the trash.
If you were in the uniformed services in the late 90s or later, your DNA was databased, ostensibly so there would be no more unknown soldiers.
All it takes is one member of your family to submit a DNA test and LE will be able to home in on you. So avoiding it doesn’t keep your family secrets safe. My cousin refuses to take a DNA test because she’s afraid of what might come up due to her philandering father. But her daughter did take one, so if there are any family secrets, they’re coming out anyway. When we did our DNA tests we found out we had identical twin sisters from one of our father’s flings.
I think that it must happen. Long held family secrets are probably discovered everyday. Jealousy, betrayal and revenge all must be in play in many of these types of situations.
Who is John Gault?
No doubt. There is probably no way to ever really find out, but it would be interesting to see a murders solved vs murders caused breakdown for these services.
