That makes sense that we should reach out on the media they watch, but that’s just it - isn’t mainstream media viewership down across the board, at least with Millennials and Gen Z?

If so, it stands to reason that online media (where our side has established a sizeable presence) would be more than enough to reach them, would it not?

It’s a bit different. For lack of better terms, US blacks haven’t really assimilated into the culture. It’s kind of a parallel culture. Hispanics are more assimilated and might watch, for example, Univision but they’ll watch other media also. Blacks generally watch media that specifically targets their ethnic group, including in the online space. Candace Owens, let’s be honest, her audience is mostly white people who are already conservative and it’s preaching to the choir.

I think how we could fix this is doing appearances on shows like Fresh & Fit which are black media but lean conservative, but I don’t know if a lot of our candidates even know what this is.

Because they realize Sanders had no chance to get elected and therefore no possibility of actually delivering those handouts. Blacks aren’t idealogical, they don’t care about Marxism or any of Bernie’s kookie rhetoric, they know he can’t deliver the free stuff.

To be fair, even if he was elected he couldn’t deliver on most of what he promised. Not without new laws anyway, which would have to be passed through Congress.
