And most of the younger Americans are completely oblivious to what is actually happening “to” America.

The difference being that they (Confederate government officials and military officers) who had previously sworn an oath to the Constitution had quite publicly served a government which had made war against the United States.
To say that Trump, by his actions or inactions, somehow staged an ‘insurrection’ against the government of the U.S. is absurd, but that is what the democrats have been seriously claiming for the last 2 1/2 years. I have no doubt that where they control state governments they will do their best to ‘disqualify’ President Trump from running for office.
It is fascinating to me to think that the people who endured the bloody Civil War were much more conciliatory towards the South—Congress restored rights for nearly all ex-Confederates—than the current crop of democrats.
Interesting. A side benefit if the succeed is Dems win up n down the ballot. There will be little base turn out to vote for the Republican criminals in all their races. THAT is about the only thing that would concern Republicans
Does anybody actually read Section 3 of the 14th Amendment ? It says nothing about banning anyone from becoming President, it only talks about ELECTORS OF THE PRESIDENT. It also speaks to OFFICES UNDER THE UNITED STATES, which has never been understood to include the Presidency.
It will take only one to take it to the Supreme Court.
I believe if they do this, congress can reinstate with a vote.
On Charlie Kirk’s show he said his legion of warriors melted down the phone lines in their NH office that deals with the ballot issues and they backed out and claimed that ‘they were only talking.’ Charlie did say they will go after any or all SOS that tries to pull this 14th Amendment crap.

It appears their cheat machine isn’t enough. So they will have to go this route.
They will go every route following the path of least resistance.
So now we don’t even need kangaroo courts and show trials, a Secretary of State can just decide on a whim that a presidential candidate is not allowed on his state’s ballot? If there was ever a “F around and find out” move, THAT would be it.

The NH SOS is a Republican and, like nearly all Republican politicians, a coward. That’s why even people from our side could get him to back down.
At least for now. He may get bolder later; perhaps he just wasn’t ready to be the FIRST one to ban Trump from the ballot.
The AZ SOS is a dirty Democrat cockroach with lots of experience at election fraud from back when he in charge of Maricopa County elections (e.g. 2018 U.S Senate election).
Don’t be too shocked if there is a considerable difference in their reactions to a few little phone calls.
In fact not only will that slimy insect in Arizona not back down, maybe those who call will be prosecuted by the state for “election interference”.

They validated the result in 2020. To allow Trump to challenge it now means them admitting they ignored a stolen election.
They have an objective and They don’t care that it’s obvious. They will deal with the fall out later. They believe they won’t be held responsible. I’m sure they were promised that much. They don’t care about elections. Could care less about You, nor I. The constitution, laws, etc They really don’t. The contempt, the absolute narcissistic behavior is sociopathic. They are dangerous.
If worse come to worse then conservative controlled states need to remove the democrat candidate from the ballot.
