They are easily and illegally coming around the buoys. So, I guess the advocate azzhos don’t need to have the buoys removed after all. The Illegals can use them as pitstops coming across the river.

Gruesom is as slimy and untrustworthy as any Democrat, but as another fellow Freeper noted earlier in this thread, the man has no ideology you can pin him down to. This slimy reptile would be a serious threat to win the presidency if he were to be nominated instead of Sleepy Joe. This is actually a really smart way for Newsome to handle this.
Homelessness is obviously a huge problem for any Democrat from CA.
But he is turning this into a Sister Soulja moment where he shows centerist voters he is a “moderate” when he takes on the leftist activists in his own party and in the legal system.
He also gets “candor points” or “authenticity points” from voters by up front admitting there is a big problem and not minimizing it.
By blaming it ultimately on liberals in Federal Courts, he sets the stage for him supporting federal legislation to limit their jurisdiction, which sets up another fight with Democrat left activists- which is good for him to appeal to centrists.

And it gives him an argument that as Mayor and Governor, he was constrained by Federal Court decisions, and so now he has to go into the White House to fix it.
(All nonsense of course, but this guy is cleverly turning a huge liability into a positive)
Gearing up for a run. He can see Cottage Cheese Brain Biden is not going to make it, either by health, or by impeachment or investigation.
They are casting about for the 2024 candidate.
Any time some scum-sucking a-hole like Newsome begins to throw shade at his fellow travelers, that is the first thing at hand.
And one more thing-his fellow travelers don’t care. They are likely on-board with it.
Gee, maybe he could stop the various state handouts that subsidize the street life style. Maybe he could arrest drug dealers. Maybe could arrest vagrants. Maybe that would help.
Yup, he’s definitely getting ready to run.

And yet, he and the other democRATS will continue to fund the MASSIVE Homeless Industrial Complex. They put homeless and illegal trespassers in some of the best San Francisco hotels. They BROUGHT drugs and alcohol to their hotel rooms. San Francisco style room service.
Reminds me of the 1990s Welfare to Work. The Republicans took over the House of Representatives for the first time in 40 years. Clinton fought it until he realized he would lose. I joined some private entities in helping people find work. The public employees we interacted with hated it. As long as their caseload needed ‘help’ the welfare staff were justified. As more and more people went to work, these staff had to find something else to occupy their time. They provided one little office in their expansive building. We quickly learned not to leave anything of value in the office, as it would be gone the next day. Lovely people.
He is clever, indeed. A very dangerous attribute in an ambitious, amoral, and politically competent scumbag. Our saving grace is that Hillary wasn’t clever but wasn’t aware of it.
