No prescription. Pharmacist asks a few questions about other drugs you’re taking so there are no conflicts. For instance, I take Eliquis blood thinner and it’s OK. But Coumadin blood thinner would be a problem. Also needs to know weight to sell the right dosage.

Haven’t needed a prescription for maybe 18 months now. (One good thing Gov. Lee did.)

I went and got 90 from a local compounding pharmacy last week. I think it was even a little cheaper than when I bought ivermectin from India - and I feel confident it’s the real stuff.

I think most people either used the paste that could be purchased from a local farming store or bought it from sources in India.

Both of which can be risky.

Pound for pound, the horse paste works for humans. But the dosing is sized for a horse 5-10 times heavier than a human.
Also, many of the horse pastes include other medications that aren't so great for humans. Not everyone is smart or aware enough to get the ivermectin-only horse pastes.

India orders are generally a crapshoot. Who knows how sanitary/above-board the random Indian supplier you end up picking is. Not to mention the shipping times are crazy long. Some people have waited months for 10 pills to make it over.

Having pills over the counter here (or at least pushing docs to prescribe them) means you get stuff that's near-immediately available, and is much surer of quality, purity, and general safety for consumption.

The source I purchased from in India took about 4 weeks to get the meds to me. I also bought a couple others and it took about a month to get those too. But heck, if I can find a source here in the US I’ll definitely purchase from them. I would trust them more than an overseas source. I’m gonna check out the link(s) in this posting. Thanks for the advice.

I bought mine at ivermectin.com

100 tablets, made in India, for about $200 including sales tax and shipping.

Sent to me from North Carolina. No prescription required.

THIS Year!

They are already pushing the ne to PLandemic.
They have vaccines ready, have named the new virus and are mandating masks.

The closer we get to the election the more they will push masks, vaxxes AND bosters.

I bet that’s exactly what the judge was laying the smackdown on, that mocking demand from the FDA.

We bought some from India too during the 1st pandemic and didn’t need to use it. My husband and I just came down with this awful strain and my husband took one pill but about fifteen minutes later became really dizzy and almost past out. Had to lay on the floor for a good 45 minutes before getting up. I don’t know if the ivermectin had anything to do with it or it was just a coincidence timing of some of the effects of this terrible COVID. I was afraid to take it after that and suffered pretty bad with fighting this. I’m on day 6 and feel slightly less horrible.

You should. It’s gorgeous here now. They will sell it to you if you’re there in person. They can’t mail it to an address out of TN, though.

The horse paste is not more concentrated. For .2 mg/kg, it is exactly the amount by pounds as for humans. The paste has marks for pounds, and the total is for 1250 pounds at this .2 mg/kg.

The amount expected for treatment, rather than prevention, of COVID is double (.4 mg/kg) or triple (.6 mg/kg) the preventative/low dose horses get, per pound.

Your mileage may vary and I'm not a doctor, but you can double check my calculations.

If you’re not just joking, and DO have leg cramps at night, a shot glass-full swig of Pickle Juice from the jug of Kosher Dills that EVERYONE keeps in the fridge, works wonders. My sister is plagued with them and this works for her.

I drink Vodka Tonics in the summer months - tonic water has quinine in it. I’ve had a leg cramp, ONCE, and that was after a very strenuous, hot, farm-project day when I didn’t drink enough water.

Do, also up your water intake! But that’s just good advice for everyone.

Other than that, I got nothin’... :)

I am sorry to hear what you’re going thru. I surely hope I don’t contract this new version. I have still have the Ivermectin I purchased during the first plandemic but I’ve been hoping I’ll never have to use it. I tolerated it ok, I just don’t want to catch Covid again.

Even though I got some Ivermectin, I may purchase some from the source at that website if I can’t make it down to Tennessee.

Here are the “dangers” of taking ivermectin outlined in the article that you linked to.

“Do not swallow ivermectin lotion or cream that is meant for use on the skin.”

“Taking large doses or doses intended for animals is dangerous and can result in overdose, causing serious harm including nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, low blood pressure, dizziness, balance problems, seizures, coma, and even death.
Ivermectin can cause birth defects if taken early in pregnancy.”

“Dosages intended for animals may contain ingredients that are not meant for people to consume, and how these ingredients can affect humans has not been studied.”

The same precautions could be said about just about any substance. Not eating lotions that are meant to be used on skin is something that people teach their kids. Taking large “doses” of anything even drinking too much water can kill you whether or not the water was intended to be fed to animals.

As far as ivermectin causing birth defects when taken early in pregnancy... I quote from The Lancet, a medical journal, “Ivermectin is one of the most broadly used drugs in global health. More than 3·7 billion treatments have been safely distributed in the context of Merck’s donation programme. Pregnant women are usually excluded from treatment but no formal evaluation of the safety in pregnancy has been done to date. Additionally, no systematic reviews or meta-analyses of ivermectin exposure in pregnant women have been published according to our provisional literature search of MEDLINE, Scopus, and the Cochrane Library.”

So, saying ivermectin can cause birth defects when taken early in pregnancy is much less scientifically correct than saying drinking too little water early in pregnancy can cause birth defects. This actually has been proven to cause birth defects.

https://www.thebump.com/a/excessive-thirst-during-pregnancy

The article you linked to was a good example of propaganda meant to discourage the use of ivermectin.

I took ivermectin when my wife and I came down with Covid that we caught from the fully vaccinated staff at the dentist’s office. (The dentist’s office actually had to be shut down for a month.) I was hoping for a miracle cure, but I didn’t get better any faster than my wife who didn’t take it. I took the version meant for horses at a dosage that was half the typical amount per pound that was prescribed for humans when taking the pill form. I was much more comfortable taking a substance that was meant for animals from a reputable source and manufactured by a reputable company than purchasing pills from abroad. I don’t like feeding my dog or cat treats or food from China or India.

It is very hard to sift through all of the anti-ivermectin propaganda that the government and Western major media sources used to discourage it’s use. I would guess that there is 20 times as much propaganda as reliable information that comes back on a standard Google search. But there are now current studies even from government sources that have concluded that ivermectin was and is an effective treatment against Covid.

https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC9823263/

“Ivermectin alone or in combination with other drugs appears to have beneficial effects on SARS-CoV-2 infection. In addition, ivermectin is known to inhibit the entry and replication of viral RNA into host cells through a variety of strategies/pathways. However, we hypothesize that ivermectin is capable of increasing the replication capacity of SARS-CoV-2 by enhancing autophagy. Although ivermectin has anti-inflammatory properties, it can induce pathological complications and inflammatory responses during COVID-19 treatment by increasing stimulation of the P2X7 receptor and its downstream signaling pathways. Furthermore, despite its role in altering metabolic processes, it may induce ROS and it may be one of the other side effects of ivermectin in the treatment of COVID-19. It appears that the combined treatment of ivermectin with other drugs may reduce side effects and demonstrate its therapeutic efficacy in the treatment of COVID-19.”

https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/ is the National Center of Biotechnology Information from the National Library of Medicine. I am surprised that they have been allowed to release information that directly contradicts the FDA, Dr. Fauci, and many other government sources. Obviously, there are still government employees and others who still care more about the truth than risking their livelihood.

I should probably have added that the conclusion that I quoted had quite a bit of hedging after the key sentence, “Ivermectin alone or in combination with other drugs appears to have beneficial effects on SARS-CoV-2 infection.” I quoted the entire statement to show that even when a clear-cut conclusion has been made by government sources... they are compelled to attach a bit of nonsense to give their masters something to hang on to.

That is called job security. There is now no doubt that ivermectin is helpful against Covid, but you can’t declare an emergency and compel people to take experimental vaccines and force people to jump through other hoops when effective treatments are available.
