It's hard to believe that Barack Obama was not aware of what was going on with his top Cabinet officers, or that he wasn't also involved in their schemes. This means that anyone using Biden's gmail ID into 2017 had their emails read by Google. If they were communicating top secret information through these gmail accounts, that would be transmitting "current" secrets, not stale secrets that Donald Trump was alleged to have shown.

But not on a free public service like Gmail. Up until 2017, Google routinely scanned all gmail for advertising purposes. If Obama, Biden, Clinton, and others were using gmail accounts to "advise" each other, then those emails were being routinely scanned by Google and other Google-authorized 3rd party apps.
We're not talking about ISP-provided email services here.
