I know exactly what he is talking about. But I won't bring it up here either since it's so unbelievable few would acknowledge it. But, once you have put everything into perspective, which took 30 years for me, it all makes sense. I swapped an email or two with him once years ago,the guys got it all under control.

I’d have no problem owning a hybrid vehicle, as long as it wasn’t a tiny shoebox without power.
I think we have a long way to go in perfecting the internal combustion engine to be more efficient. That’s where we should be focusing, not windmills, batteries and solar panels. THOSE things only enrich the Chinese, who are producing them in massive amounts fueled by fossil fuel burning, smoke belching electrical plants.
The Left are their own worse enemies.
I have concluded that the final outcome will be a mix of totally EV’s and Hybrids. Pure internal combustion will linger for specialized applications.
Having said that, the primary survivors will be Toyota and Tesla.
The big three will be gone, having withered away. Ditto Volkswagen
This morning is the inaugural appearance of Kristen Welker on Meet The Press as Chuck Todd’s replacement.
She scored probably the biggest “get” possible as a guest, Donald Trump.
It will be interesting to see how she treats him.
Will there be any questions about the economy, the war in Ukraine, the open border/migrant invasion, crime, or the raging fentanyl epidemic?
Or will it be all about how could he be eligible to run for president with all of the outstanding indictments?
I expect it will be the latter so she can establish her bona fides with the inside the beltway elites.
Mind you, I have no intention of watching. I will wake up early Monday morning, brew a pot of black coffee and see what type of reviews she gets.
