These are the people who elect Pelosi, who stated being unemployed is good for people.

When I saw gas prices go from $2.50/gallon to over $5.00/gallon it feels like I was punched in the nuts. To keep from giving in to a savage heart, I put my trust in the Lord Jesus Christ.

If the gas prices rise suddenly, people would be forced to cancel trips. They'll have less money for discretionary activities such as going to the movies. Then it will cause a recession. And that will crush inflation.
But if the gas prices are gradual like it is right now, we will continue to see inflation.
If we want to go into a recession, we'll need to see $6.00 per gallon.

yes everyone is worried about going to the movies

We are getting by using credit cards to pay for frivolous stuff. But if gas is $6.00 per gallon, the party is over.

There is no inflation.
Inflation is transitory.
Inflation is Trump’s fault.
Inflation is good.

I am getting tired of this broken record.

High gas prices drive up the cost of everything else.$6.00 gas, maybe Democrats will decide that it's a bad idea to vote for Biden.
That's what happened in 1980 with Jimmy Carter.

Yeah, mthr r’kcuF?
I did not enjoy filling my gas tank at $5.89 a gallon today.
Imagine a family trying to scrape up nearly triple what it cost for gas just three years ago and the corollary costs of anything they need transported by truck.

At some point, lies can no longer endure. Still wondering when we’ll actually get there.

Inflation is guaranteed in a financial system of debt-based fiat.
Move to an asset-based financial system (and, we are as fiat continues to crumble), and inflation goes away.

It depends what you want to achieve.
If you aim is to destroy the economy, yes, the high gas prices are great!
