Most American's don't pay attention to what is going on in politics. A good portion doesn't even know who the POTUS currently is! These things simply aren't cared about in many circles. But when it's time to cast your vote, well then, they will make sure to vote for the criminals who continue to give the freebies.
My point was simple. Why go through the motions when you know you will be shot down at the end of the process? Documenting the crimes is a good thing, but who will act upon the evidence? Nobody, and in the end, that seems to me to show our government as a partner in corruption that cannot be salvaged.
Then you have the complicit media who will make sure that any rough edges are smoothed over for the stinking masses of commoners and life goes on as usual.
You want to do something useful? Put the screws to the media and get them fixed, first and foremost.
