Acronym dictionary lists 8 definitions for DDS.

Which one do you mean?

Well, not dentist. LOL. DeSantis Derangement Syndrome.

No one cares. Trump or bust. If you choose bust, that's on you.

Let's say Trump wins in 2024. Come 2028, then what?

Four years of Trump will not save this country. We need a longterm plan, with many reliable leaders. If MAGA remains dependent on only one old man, then MAGA will fail.

“Trump or bust. If you choose bust, that’s on you.”
_________________________________________________________

I will concede that Trump appears on his way to bullying and insulting his way to another GOP nomination, along the way trashing huge swaths of Republican voters who would be essential in building a winning coalition.

I like Trump ok, and I supported him in 2016 and 2020. However, I also like winning elections. At this point, any viable Republican candidate should be leading the feeble and corrupt Biden 55 - 38 in the General Election polling. Instead, we have this:

Emerson – Trump 45, Biden 45 (Sept. 20)
Yahoo News – Biden 44, Trump 44 (Sept. 20)
Morning Consult – Biden 42, Trump 42 (Sept. 19)
Rasmussen – Biden 43, Trump 42, (Sept.18)

The AP NORC poll a month ago revealed that 53% of the electorate would never vote for Trump under any circumstances. This aligns precisely with what Trump received in the 2020 General Election (46.8%). Trump is universally known, and no one is changing their mind about him.

Add to this that the voting apparatus in numerous swing states (PA, MI, AZ, WI) is controlled by shameless Democrats and Trump has an even higher hill to climb. Also, this doesn’t consider the unpredictable developments that are sure to arise from the multiple litigations facing Trump.

If he gets the nomination, I will support him, but it will probably be an exercise in futility.

Yessiree. That support for TPP
Ron DeSantis voted to give President Obama “fast-track” authority
Not much interest in strengthening US manufacturing sector.

DeSantis expressed skepticism about Trump-era tariffs on steel and aluminum. DeSantis said the best approach would be as “temporary leverage,” expressed concern for industries downstream of aluminum and steel production and retaliation against US farmers, and seemed to express support for maximizing exemption.

DeSantis said people could “debate” whether “tariffs [were] the best way” to address questionable Chinese trade practices. (That’s a great way to avoid taking action)
DeSantis said he had opposed tariffs throughout his congressional career. (Shows no understanding of the effect of balance of trade on American economy)

Despite warnings about the system’s fragility, Ron DeSantis failed to address the state’s unemployment system before the pandemic. When the crisis hit, it was Floridians who paid the price, unable to access earned benefits — or even get their phone calls answered by DeSantis’ bureaucracy.

Lots not to like.

That question needs to be directed at the Stupid Party. I'm no longer a member. Post Trump I'm forever done with them unless a MAGA type enters the fray. Personally I will hold out for a Pinochet type. I'll never vote for another ratpublican squish.

Jim and Chris should ban every single one of you Never Trumpers here.

We're not neverTrumpers when we voted for him in the past. He's just gone power mad at this point and has convinced people like you that we need totalitarian control of everything to force compliance to the one and only accepted choice. I don't think we'll be banned, so long as we continue to make the accurate case that we oppose Trump from the conservative right, that he clearly does not represent.

If you choose to go along with him draping rainbow flags on himself on stage, saying he doesn't know if a man can become a woman, and that wanting to stop abortions is a terrible thing, and that the warp speed death shots are one of the greatest accomplishments of all time, and that the Constitution should be terminated so he can be installed as President, then those are your choices. They're just not representative of conservatives, which is what this site is about.

I've already voted for and lived through one Globalist / NeoCon Pretend Conservative administration with GWB.

I don't intend to have to endure another with DeSanctimonious!

Most of us supported and raised money for DJT last two elections-—probably contributed far more in actual assistance than the vast majority of keyboard warriors and if Trump is the nominee I will vote for him despite thinking he will probably lose

That aside-—should they ban all the onlytrumpers if he is not the nominee and they don’t fall in line? I think i read (not certain) a comment from the site owner that when its decided we all get on the same side.

Trump is the hill to die on. If the Deep State takes out Trump again then there is no republic, no more hills to retreat to.
