That is the worlds most watched border along with north and South Korea

After hearing how easily Hamas got through and the lack of immediate response, I'm not so sure.

The military supplies to Hamas primarily come into Gaza through the tunnels from Egypt.

The Syrians are not manufacturing the missiles they launch in Syria. So, they either come into port via ship or are flown into the country. This action eliminates the potential for resupply via airplane. So, right now the Iranians are loading up ships to resupply.

Bidens presidency will end the same as Carters, with record high inflation, gas lines, war in the middle east and American hostages.

Sure looks that way. But will it end or are we in for another awful surprise? We can’t rely on history for what is happening now.

Israel had intel that a top Iranian mullah was going to be landing at Damascus airport. So the Israelis bombed it before this Honcho arrived. This scarred this Mullah off and away. His airplane turned around midair, back to Iran without ever landing in Syria.

The result I expect is for this to turn into WWIII.

I see more FReepers concerned about Israel than the US and it disgusts me.
Drugs from Mexico kill more Americans than Hamas or Hezbollah ever will.
Lawless blacks kill more Americans than Hamas or Hezbollah ever will.
I wouldn’t care about Israel bombing Syria if it wasn’t going to pull the US in.

We learned nothing from Afghanistan and Iraq. It didn’t even phase militant Islam.
Globalism and immigration will destroy every decent country.
Killing a million, or ten, Muslims will just be a scratch.
Not allowing filth into one’s country, ever, is the beginning.
This is just going to get a shit ton of people on both sides killed and not even remotely change a thing.

You might want to check on the 1300 US troops in Syria.
They might get attacked and thus widen the war.
Almost like it’s a plan.

Israel has bombed both Damascus and Aleppo airports in the past to disrupt Iranian resupply. Israel and Syria are still at war. The only post Yom Kippur War document governing relations is the Agreement on Disengagement between Israel and Syria from 1974, a temporary cease fire which Syria violates by launching rockets at Israel and supplying Hezbollah and Hamas with which Israel is at war. There is no peace treaty.

Reading a lot of back and forth about whose actions constitute “an act of war”. IMHO it can never be dismissed that Israel is surrounded by hostile neighbors (straight back to biblical times). An act of aggression of any kind puts them on war footing/SURVIVAL MODE— something we in the West can’t fully appreciate because we do not have a similar current context or history.

We may judge their actions (one way or the other), but we are doing so with a completely different frame of reference, and, again, IMHO we do so with an “Imagine” mindset and not one based in reality.
