With all the illegals from all parts of the globe pouring across our southern border unchecked, it is not difficult to believe that terrorists are among them and that sleeper cells are already formed. We should expect terror attacks on schools, hospitals and shopping malls as well as random acts of terror. In many areas our defunded police and lenient criminal justice system has allowed crime to flourish and thus they would be incapable of meeting a terrorist threat. We may well have to rely on armed citizen militias to deal with terrorists.

I wonder if the Israeli Leftists calls this "Gun Safety" as they do in this country?
Is there some tactical demographic reason for the gun restrictions or is just typical lib dog squeeze about guns? I have yet to hear anyone make the demographic case. “We game played it out, and determined semiauto rifles for the general populace would actually cause more deaths in an invasion type scenario because we can’t trust armed segments of our citizenry to fight on our side” isn’t something too many pols would like to admit, maybe.
They accept foreign military aid for their defense systems, I don’t begrudge them this. But it seems like allowing their populace to effectively arm themselves would be a pretty cheap way to at least have a fighting chance when guys with rifles knock on the door.
