I found it eye opening.
He is? If he gave a hoot about his country, he’d be behind Trump, not massaging his ego. He just got re-elected a year ago, and has spent the entire time running for another job.
You keep posting this nonsense that Trump is worried about DeSantis. Like any prudent campaigner, Trump doesn’t take anything for granted, and still mentions him from time to time. But the amount of time he spends talking about DeSantis is small and getting smaller by the day. In an hour-long campaign rally he’ll maybe spend 30-60 seconds talking about him, and that’s IF he mentions him at all.
“Why is Trump so worried about DeSantis, who is doing so poorly in the polls?”
Trump doesnt appear worried to me about Ron. Trump just likes to point out truth. truth is polling as poorly as Ron is there is no way he could win the general. same for the rest of them. they are ALL doing it to try to help destroy Trump and divide republicans, it’s why they are running.
Common sense tells most of the country no other Republican has a chance but these tools of the money men who run the puppets supposedly in leadership in this country just want a few bucks.
like tossing a 20$ bill in a group of teenagers and watching them all grab for it.
though I suppose some may get a house or such like bernie sanders got when he finally caved in 2016 race.
What does that say about Ron? 🙄
What a pant load. And you’d think FReepers would be smart enough to know that you can support 1 candidate without hating the others. You know, having preferences?
But no… the education system and media has rotted the brains of too many here as well.
Before you whine at me. I wish DeSantis would drop out. I’ll support Trump. Anyway, doesn’t suspending your campaign mean that you can start it up again if you want to?
“has enough money to stay in race”
Who’s money? Inquiring minds want to know.
I like DeSantis just fine, but he seems to be blowing his future changes by stepping on his d*ck on a regular basis.
On the other hand, people have short memories, especially in politics.
the only good position Ron is in is to get us a dem for the next 4 years or more and show on national stage what a loser he is.
He wouldnt have won Gov without Trump’s support, and since then instead of supporting Trump, Ron’s done just about everythign he could to stab Trump in the back.
Not many people want to vote for a selfish minded person like that.
How pathetic. he should have known better. That isn’t saying much for his thinking.
He’s more than just positioning himself for that possibility. He’s rooting for that outcome. He refuses to condemn the lawfare against Trump except in the vaguest of terms. His whole campaign strategy is based on a hope that the deep state is successful in taking out his rival. A patriot would forcefully condemn such things actions and would want to win the nomination in a fair fight, not because the enemy cleared a pathway for him.
He is said to have a very conservative record as governor.
Apparently we are to disregard his record, because of personal animosity towards DeSantis.
It must be delusions of grandeur. Napoleon had that and had much success before final failure.
Trump doesn’t act worried at all about DeSantis. He mostly ignores him anymore.
Jebra available! Hoo wee.
Remember, DeSanti was a govt. lawyer at GITMO. There are details about what he did there, fwiw. Like all lawyers, working the fringes for advantage.
So explain to everyone why you want desantis, who has shown he
deliberately lies about things,
is corrupt and doesn’t hesitate in doing things like using millions of Florida tax payer’s money, to create p.r. for his campaign,
is supported by swamp GOPe uniparty rinos (but not as much as haley is, apparently)
to be president, and more importantly...
when desantis says something, how can you tell he’s telling the truth and not lying again?
IMO it doesn’t make a lot of difference whether it is Trump
or DeSantis. The dems have their future set for VP Harris
to become the 1st female President. To do that they need to
re-elect Biden on Tuesday, November 5, 2024.
Just last evening he "re-truthed" the Florida Republican Assembly's letter calling for DeSantis to drop out of the race.
So, no, he's not really ignoring him.
Why should he drop out? He’s got an unending taxpayer paycheck coming in to cover his personal expenses while he runs around the country. All brought to him by the Republican majority in the State Legislator at his personal request.
