Then Ackman said to Biden, “Why start doing that now?” — a reference to the vice-president’s well-known penchant for speaking his mind. One source at the table tells New York he heard it as an attempt to lighten the mood. Ackman confirms that this was his intent.
“Who’s this wiseass,” Biden then said. He turned to Ackman and added, “Do you want to take this outside?”
We can glean a LOT from this report, if true. Here’s a sampling:
1. Bidet has had early-onset dementia for some time. He may also have Asperger’s, though I didn’t want to slander Aspies.
2. It’s easy to get inside Bidet’s head AND live there rent-free.
3. Bidet fancies himself a tough-guy when he has a glass jaw.
“Dear President Gay!”, stopped reading right there….
"I did not have time to send you a short letter, so I sent a long one instead." - Samuel Clemens
Yes, this is a very strongly worded letter!
?? the complaint is usually made because no one has corrected a situation. therefore bring constructive suggestions how to ameliorate. MANY complain just to complain and when asked how they would improve situation: crickets.

My husband is a Harvard graduate . When he was at Harvard ( late 70s) he estimated that the school was 30% Jewish. Those Jewish students and their children are at the peak of their careers in finance and industry. I estimate that the donations to this school will dry up. I am sorry, and this may sound racist, but when a black woman was given the Presidency of Harvard, I knew there was going to be problems.
I don’t care where she stands on the charts intelletual and academic performance. What counts is whether or not she is a good person in the view of the people who get to decide who is a good person.
Ackman is a longtime, generous Democrat donor.
And Penn and all the other Ivies participating in this DEI-led travesty.
And Penn and all the other Ivies participating in this DEI-led travesty.
The antisemitic ones, too.
But he did, including the obvious threat of Title VI action, and directives for how real support should be communicated, what punishments should be meted out by the Administration—and he has already led many fact-finding meetings. As my mother always said, read the whole post at the link.
Harvard has a huge endowment, $53.2 billion as of June 2021, according to Wikipedia. What is more likely is that a big old lawsuit by its many, many Jewish alumni in elite professions—and their Christian and Asian allies—will force it to clean house.
You and I are on the same page. I read Akman’s letter twice. He mentions defunding the University in a way that makes the rest of his demands sound unserious.
He mentions the University is flirting with the loss of Title VI funds in three sentences and devotes one sentence concerning the potential loss of Alumni endowments. As you said money talks.
All I would have said, “you’re the president of supposedly one of the finest universities on the planet, you know what’s wrong and how to fix it. Fix it or I will stop all endowments and grants plus I will lead the effort to organize a defunding mechanism for all of Harvard’s benefactors!”
The complaints that I had voiced were INCOMPETENCE on the part of other employees...and there was only ONE SOLUTION!! Get rid of the offenders. That was pretty constructive...Got old in more ways than one, carrying the load of the whole office.
At one job my boss’s BOSS (owner of the company) asked me if I thought he should fire the one I was complaining about. Couldn’t do that - they were old schoolmates from Seton Hall - one an airline captain and his friend without a shred of aviation experience put in charge of an aviation company. I was at least 20 years older than either of them and also much older than the rest of the office help.
After 10 years, the company had to file for bankruptcy and close the doors..I was in charge of closing the offices and storing the files at the owner’s home. Where was his buddy? Don’t know - not around to help, I knew that!
Sure glad of that! I donlt have anything that autocorrects - except right this second, my keyboard does not want to print the apostrophe - this is what I get lllll...putting CAPS on, that becomes an LLLLL. Donlt need the expense of a new keyboard - just had to get a new printer after 20 years!!! No doubt a keyboard isnlt as expensive as a printer.
The L-l key definitely has a problem with the apostrophe key!

All I would have said - short and sweet! Pardon the lack of quotes as my keyboard has decided not to print that key -
As my mother always said, read the whole post at the link.
I tried to do that but had to give up about 1/3 of the way through...too wordy!!
actually my ‘exactly’ comment was to express approval of Ackman’s letter which i read in its entirety. it was precisely because he brought correctives to the table that i quoted my mothers axiom. i forgive your misinterpretation and summary judgment of me - as i could have been clearer.
