Any alternative should have some advantages. Just in terms of system redundancy because things are failing more now.
But when it is Bank of America, Mastercard etc. there is no additional protection for conservatives.

I just want to be clear on where you stand on this before we proceed any further in this discourse.
The government will kill people for ‘a few bits on computer’, as in what you say or support online, not for what you really do. Money is the same. It’s just an idea in the end.
If you can stomach wild price range of Bitcoin from $61000 to $17000, more power to you.
If you want to buy high and sell low, make sure you watch the price every second of every day and sell as soon as you will have a big enough realized loss.
In ordinary circumstances I would never consider Bitcoin.
We do not live in ordinary times. We live in a time when the genocidal billionaire psychopaths are in the process of destroying the world economy so 90% of the population will starve.
The Central Bank Digital Currency they want to force us into is just a slave accounting system. We will all “owe our souls to the company store.”
When the banks start collapsing and you get a haircut on your deposits Bitcoin will go through the roof. It will be the only safe haven. None of the “me too” cryptocurrencies will be.

When a bitcoin is $50,000 a $10,000 drop is huge.
When a bitcoin is $500,000, a $10,000 drop is a blip.

I’m coming from it at an angle that fiat currency isn’t really different than crypto or NFTs, which a lot of people bash for being just data entries that are really worthless in the end. An EMP or solar flare could do the plot of Fight Club and erase it all potentially.
There’s hardly even much of a distinction between M1 and M2 money supply as the world is virtually cashless now as well. It just amuses me that people will do anything over having a bigger number that shows up on a website account.
You view the issue through the intrinsic value of money which is given by men to other men.
I view the issue through the issue of privacy and freedom, which are given by God and are not in the domain of things that can be taken by men.
To those men, the value of money is secondary to their value of power over others. Financial freedom and Political freedom are inextricably intertwined, and one cannot exist without the other.
Those who don’t understand and accept that are on the side of those whose desire is tyranny, whether they understand or accept that or not.
