could treat another human like that. They don't regard any non-mulsim as fully, or in most cases, even minimally, another human.

Earthquakes are common in the Philippines, which lies on the “Ring of Fire”, a belt of volcanoes circling the Pacific Ocean that is prone to seismic activity.

“Earthquakes don’t Strike.....”
Are you going to email the author and correct their mistake or should I?
Disasters of many kinds don’t usually “strike” as lightening does but that is the phrasing often used when reporting on them. As in, “Disaster strikes when a train derailed in.....”. Or, “Disaster strikes when a damn failed and flooded the town of .....”. That phrasing is very common.
