I think the people calling the shots have decided its time to pull the “eject” handle.
The poll numbers are brutal. The titans of Wall Street are quite bearish. Foreign policy is a wreck. Minority voters are turning on Joe. Suburban women are turning on him. Public sentiment is very dark.
All of us, me included, tend to think about “politics” as issues, morals, laws, norms, Machiavellian power plays, etc.
However, the real truth is that the people who got “good ole Joe” elected want control.
The Oval Office is easily worth 1 trillion dollars. It’s why powerful people spend billions (now the numbers) every 4 years. Money makes the world go round FRiend and at some point more and more “donors” are seeing this administration as a losing bet.
I said it before and I will say it again.... the biggest threat to the elites is MAGA and the much-demonized champion of MAGA is crushing Biden in polling right now. They have no love for Joe Biden - they want to win.
If you know your guy is losing to the devil what do you have to lose? They just spoke up in a big way with a rather serious indictment that takes care of two birds with one stone.... gets rid of Joe and they (erroneously in my opinion) believe it will give their case(s) against “bad orange man” more credibility.
It also appears that Joe’s “health” is becoming impossible to ignore. Would you bet on Joe in a game of checkers?

Someone(s) has decided it is time for Joe Biden to go and be replaced by Newsom or a new candidate to be named later. So Hunter has been indicted on federal ax-evasion charges in California. Short of the IRS, the most vicious tax agency I’m aware of in the U.S. is the California Franchise Tax Board. If Hunter evaded/failed to file Federal taxes, did he pay California Income taxes? Where is the state indictment? It’s important ‘cause the Big Guy can’t pardon him from state charges (although, who knows, Newsom might for the right action by Brandon).

Doesn't the clock stop on the statute of limitations once there is an indictment? The reason the statute of limitations ran out on the previous (non)charges was because he wasn't indicted at the time it expired for offenses that occurred in prior years.
