It's been three generations since AA started.
These people now actually believe they are far superior to whites, and should be their masters.
Because of their child-like judgment and dense ignorance, they will develop a tyranny of a strong and disagreeable character.
I foresee bad things going forward.

No, don’t be silly. “Elected of Color” means everyone elected who is not ‘white’. I took a look at the current Boston City Council. There are thirteen of them. Five look to be white, which if my math is right means eightl are ‘of color’.
Now the question that should be being asked is what possible reason would there be to have a ‘holiday’ party that specifically excludes the five white councillors?
The problem is not the confusion or feelings of people who got an invitation to an event to which they were specifically excluded, but rather the thinking behind the event itself. And yes, if the situation were reversed, heads would roll.
