.
Pence was another one.
Stories he was complaining about Trump. Stories how Karen Pence had no use for Trump or Melania. Then stories about how he was going to file a lawsuit to keep him from opposing any part of the Election. All while his staff was Deep State and anti-Conservative.
However, so many attacked the sources and said it was BS. Pence was a Hero right up until he was posing with Nancy and her daughter.
I don’t know about this guy Johnson, but I’m poised to be very disappointed.

None of us knows why they were meeting. Maybe Ryan requested the meeting. Maybe Johnson told him to pound sand. To immediately jump to the conclusion that Johnson is dirty is not just a little premature.
What action did Johnson take to make you think that Johnson told Ryan to go pound sand? I did not write that Johnson was dirty, but clearly he is being influenced by powerful lobbyist like Ryan. When Ryan starts disparaging Johnson the same way he is disparaging Trump, then we might conclude that Johnson told him he would pursue the MAGA agenda in the House and he could go pound sand. Ryan could well be a lobbyist for the MIC, AND threaten Johnson with bad PR on FAUX News. Ryan didn't come just to have a cup of tea with the new Speaker. Where there is smoke, we conclude there is fire.

Ryan (and McConnell) did the most damage to the Republican
“Conservative” cause since Nixon. We waited decades to get
a man in the Oval Office who would sign any Conservative
legislation, and Ryan spent no time at all trying to do
something good for the nation.
Those two should have been tossed out of the party as soon
as their plan became clear.

No Paul, Liz paid for it with her career, Kinzinger was just gerrymandered out of office by his Democrat buddies.

Since Reagan, the Republicans have appealed to true conservatives on issues like traditional family values and being pro-life, while governing to serve the wealthy elites. Ryan and Turtle never wanted to actually govern for these people, just pose that they would do that. They hate Trump, and just wanted to use Trump for their own purposes while stabbing MAGA in the back at every opportunity.
Those two should have been tossed out of the party as soon as their plan became clear.
I think they fooled many people for a long time. Only now is it apparent that they don't support the agenda of the people who elected them. It's just gotten very hard to vote them out because the elections are rigged, and they know it.

“Instead of NOT VOTING we NEED to get these bastards out of office”
Agreed.
Quitters and personality death cultists are NOT what will make America great again.
An emphasis on primaries. From county/state offices on up. For several cycles.
America can’t be made great in any lasting foundational way without a party level strategy to do so. One man can’t do it alone. Executive orders are easy. But temporary. And typically wrong.
As members of the Free Republic, we should not even want a powerful fed executive. Much less consider it our savior.

Being from Louisiana, I had my doubts about him from the beginning.
I have seen his type many times; he is an extremely articulate speaker, the kind that businesses set up to run things, because he can soothe, flatter, charm, all while saying nothing.
Articulacy in and of itself doesn’t mean competence or character or ability.

Buck for one voted for the impeachment inquiry, when he had loudly been saying for months there wasn’t evidence to proceed, this could have been the kind of horse trade he demanded, who knows?

Speculation is guessing without fact. Johnson could have told Ryan to go F himself...but again speculation.
Does this picture explains why Trump was for the covid jab:

According to Steve Bannon, they spent considerable time together that day. There’s no excuse for that. None.
Johnson is politically tone deaf. Clueless.

“No one knows just why Ryan was there.”
Uh. There’s no GOOD reason. Ryan is kryptonite to MAGA and America in general.
