Edit: That is the monthly salary. Still scary low for a civilized nation.

Have to convert to rubles. I'm sure potatoes, vodka, buckwheat all are very cheap because that's what available in Russia.

Vodka will get you through times of no eggs better than eggs will get you through times of no vodka.

You should know. You're the one obsessed with both Putin and Russia. You can't get out of bed without thinking of both.

Face it, Marcus, your sad, pathetic life revolves around an intense, unhealthy hatred of Russia and Russians. It's both weird and sick.

Russia:
Median income: $9,563
Mean income: $11,709
GDP per capita: $11,287

Ukraine:
Median income: $4,434
Mean income: $5,010
GDP per capita: $13,341

We’ve had our own troubles with “eggflation” here in the USA:

“March 22, 2023
In February 2023, producer prices for chicken eggs were 64.3 percent higher than a dozen months earlier. During the 10 months before that, from April 2022 to January 2023, the 12-month increase in egg prices was never below 120.2 percent (in September 2022) and cracked 280.9 percent (November 2022). The seven largest over-the-year increases in egg prices occurred during those 10 months in 2022 and 2023.”

I like the way you totally ignore the complete crap show the American economy is to focus on Russian eggs. The Russians have a deficit of $329B, ours is $35T and you admin shills are crowing about the price of Russian eggs!?! What a joke. I assume you regurgitate the admin spin on US inflation. No problems here, right? Globohomo/neocon lies have you so addled you don’t know or care what’s happening in this country.

I left it out because income in Russia was being discussed, not income in the US.

You could have easily found it at the link I gave if you are so interested, but here:

Median: $24,327
Mean:$31,974
GDP per capita: $70,220

“Soviet central planning”? No, no, you have to wait until Russia overwhelms the Baltic States, as you have promised, before they can start to reconstitute the SU. Russian central planning has limited their national debt to $328B. The Russians have REDUCED their debt since the West’s laughable sanctions. We have added trillions to our, soon to be pushing $40T, debt in the same period. It does not surprise me to hear you support Team Biden economic planning as much as you do Team Biden globohomo international adventurism. Me, I’ll take the current Russian economic planning as opposed to your DC insanity (woke greenery). By the way, where was your egg alarm when I was paying $4 a dozen last spring?

You are unable to laugh, aren’t you?

Must suck seeing your fat mother and your sister having to pick wild onions in the park for food. And having to work half a day to afford eggs.

It’s a shame your money has fallen from 65 cents to a penny since you invaded Ukraine. Well, not really. I don’t care enough about Russians to care if they eat at all, let alone what they pay for an egg.

And he left out the dates. The ruble is practically worthless these days.

It’s funny how the Russophiles tell everyone how great it is to live on $500 dollars a month in Moscow.

Ah, talking about me behind my back, eh?

The ruble/dollar exchange rate is irrelevant. After all, Russians are not exchanging their rubles for dollars to buy food, pay rent, etc., inside Russia. What matters is purchasing power, cost of living in rubles.

How much are they in rubles? I don't think that gives us a good picture of the Russian economy. It may not be worth much in the West. But you have much more purchasing power in Russia.
