By the time Rush began his television show, he already had over 600 radio stations carrying EIB. During the Rush TV show, he had a map of America, and he would put a pushpin in each place as his TV show expanded. Even though many TV markets would only put him on late at night, he still eventually covered The Fruited Plain with pushpins.
“I think the many radio stations I listen to are either Cummulus or Iheart , from what I know these two BIG station owners are fiscally sound? This is the first I ever even heard of this company.”
Me too.
But the majority of spots are in Spanish.
Salem delisted their stock in January.

oops this is our local talk radio station. More local now after the era of limbaugh.
So… I can buy a local station for pennies on the dollar and play MY music?
KNX, K-Earth, and KROQ. Those are three heavy hitters in what’s left of the radio market in Los Angeles.
They barely have a 1 in the ratings.
I listen to him during my commute to work 3 days a week. Half of the programming is advertising, primarily from Nature's Balance.
It's either that or The Fan, aka Dallas Cowboys Radio. Pretty sad that the 5th largest media market can't do any better than that.
Time for stockholders to take a Roto-Rooter to the corporate headquarters and kick out the incompetent top managers
who managed the corporation into almost $2 billion dollars of debt it cannot pay.
Allowing Audacy to walk away from 80% of their debt means those holding that debt get bilked out of something like $1.55 billion dollars.
A form of legalized white collar larceny.
Sounds like something the audacious Mittens would be involved in...
KROQ is a pale shadow of its former self. As one person put it, now it just plays Sublime in heavy rotation.
At a quick glance, they seem to own mostly FM stations nationwide.
You do know that a debt-for equity swap is not only common practice, but sometimes a lot more lucrative for the debt holders. It isn’t a theft, it’s something bondholders AGREE TO.
Sad for me to realize how old I am, but good that I can hear all my favorite songs again.
K-Earth is okay but K-Surf had the best of the oldies but they gave the to much competition to the other stations now they are gone.
Yep, he single handedly kept AM alive for his tenure. Now, radio is pretty much over.
All the good KROQ stuff went on KROQ2-HD - their digital over the air free broadcast aka HDRadio. They even have some of the old djs and it is available through free streaming as well.
Can I slash my debt by 80% for my credit card debt?
Too late, Soros is buying them
