This is silly. The lack of a Palestinian state has more to do with the Palestinians refusing to declare or accept one than Israel trying to prevent it.
When Israel was created in 1948, it was by their own declaration of independence. Then they had to fight a war that very day to keep it. And then many more wars in the decades to follow.
Palestinians’ best chance was when Arafat had the opportunity. Now, they are a mess. They do not have a central government; they are not in control of anything other than the money. They cannot police their own populace. They rely on Israel for just about everything - money, taxes, water, energy, food. They rely on handouts and the UN. Anyway the first thing they need to do if they want a state is to declare their independence. They won’t do that because then they have to abide by international norms and lose their status as perpetual victims.
Those calling for a ‘two state solution’ in Israel need to go back and read their history books from the 1940s... Jordan IS the second state that was carved out of land that was all part of Palestine.
The “Two-State-Solution” was already implemented when Jordan was created with land from British Mandate Palestine following the same model as the India-Pakistan partition. The Oslo model for the “Two-State-Solution” is dead. If Jews are ethnically cleansed from Judea and Samaria and a new Palestinian Arab State is formed there Hamas will take over and atack Israel from there as it does from Gaza. The Palestinians already have a State in Jordan where they are the majority of the population....

Israel, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, possibly Jordan, and the USA will develop and carry out the redirection of the West Bank and Gaza
Presently, the USA input will likely come from the new Trump administration. The process is going to take a very long time
The State of Israel was established after the British washed their hands of the Mandate and allied itself with the Arab League. With G-d’s help, we mostly won, though they did commit some horrific massacres in Gush Etzion, and one British officer boasted in his diary of wiping out a thousand years of Jewish life, by bombarding the Jewish Quarter of the Old City of Jerusalem.
