The Third secret of Fatima seems to reflect the Russian myth of the Third Rome. That Russia will save Europe from the AntiChrist and bring Europe and the west back to Christ. That would be ironic, but God loves irony and using former enemies to do his bidding is in keeping with the Gospels. Jesus is about reforming the sinner. God doesn’t care if you cross yourself with three fingers or two, Orthodox or Catholic, Baptist or Methodist, he wants you to follow the teachings of his son Jesus Christ.
