Harvard was once a much respected school and like most of the rest of the Ivy League a degree isn’t worth squat.

It’s plagiarism all the way down.

I do wonder if Ackman’s wife plagiarized or not.

> The only Kennedy I aware of who plagiarized was Teddy. And he cheated in Law School I think, or was it College?

IIRC Profiles in Courage was allegedly ghostwritten by Ted Sorensen...

Good one. As a kid, my friend and I memorized the lyrics to the songs on the album That Was The Year That Was and we'd sing songs together to our teachers.

We were too cool for school…and apparently the favorable attention from the females of the species.

Harvard University’s chief diversity and inclusion officer has been hit with dozens of plagiarism allegations tied to her academic work — including one claim she failed to properly cite her own husband’s study.

The school was handed an anonymous complaint on Monday listing at least 40 examples of alleged plagiarism by Sherri Ann Charleston dating back to 2009 — a decade before she joined Harvard, the Washington Free Beacon reported.

The allegations, which include failing to properly cite other scholars’ work and not referencing them in footnotes, come just weeks after Harvard University president Claudine Gay resigned from her top post after becoming embroiled in a scandal over charges that she plagiarized work and her handling of antisemitism on campus.

I first “met” Tom Lehrer at about age 9 via an LP titles “An Evening (Wasted) With Tom Lehrer” ...

“Lobachevsky” was supposed to be satire.

These jerks seem to take it as an instruction.

Wiki: Theodore Chaikin Sorensen (May 8, 1928 – October 31, 2010) was an American lawyer, writer, and presidential adviser. He was a speechwriter for President John F. Kennedy, as well as one of his closest advisers. President Kennedy once called him his “intellectual blood bank”.[1] Notably, though it was a collaborative effort with Kennedy, Sorensen was generally regarded as the author of the majority of the final text of Profiles in Courage, and stated in his memoir that he helped write the book. Profiles in Courage won Kennedy the 1957 Pulitzer Prize for Biography. Sorensen helped draft Kennedy’s inaugural address and was also the primary author of Kennedy’s 1962 “We choose to go to the Moon” speech.

Apparently Bill Ackman is looking to invest in AI that will scan every one of these bureaucratic hack’s papers looking for instances of plagiarism or improper attribution. An AI computer will do a good job of finding and flagging suspicious wording.

What will come of it, who knows... but at least it will expose that the intelligentsia elites wear no clothes.

This is ridiculous. I have a ton of extremely bright black friends and colleagues. They don't need to cheat, and don't. It's an affront to them that others scam the system and do cheat.

That is probably true but that isn’t plagiarism as we are discussing.

Ok so you want to hire a black or a woman or both but why the hell can’t you find one that is competent or at the very least not dishonest?

Certainly there were a few smart people at Harvard. Can you imagine now having HARVARD listed on your CV or the degree hanging on your office wall, it would be an embarrassment now.

I hope he succeeds spectacularly. The educational institutions handed out degrees earned by fraud so that business and government could hire these cheaters in the name of diversity. Find out who they are, expose them, fire them, and prosecute them and those who aided and abetted their fraud. Further, many have been hired to the exclusion of people who honestly earned their degrees and who are truly competent. These people need to be given a path to recover economic penalties for the fraud committed against them.
