I’m am not sure if this is bluster in light of the 2024 election. Here are 3 ideas that would end this crisis immediately

1 militarize the border, declare it a free fire zone, and put a well marked minefield along the border

2 make the hiring of an illegal punishable by a million dollar fine for each illegal and incarceration of a minimum of 10 years

3. Those claiming asylum must go to the closest safe country and remain there while the visa process works its way through the system.

Biden should have been taken into custody on the day he threw open the border and charged with treason, to wit; failure to stop a foreign invasion.
The cowardice and complicity of the RINO GOP is appalling. If President Trump manages to make a comeback, he should make it absolutely clear that the RINOs will get zero from him as a republican president.
Expose their treasonous duplicity and make certain that they NEVER return to power under any circumstances whatever.
The trade off is supposedly that Biden and the defense contractors want billions more for Ukraine, and the republicans want border security.
If the House republicans cave, then Biden will get his Ukraine money and still not close the border.
It’s the oldest trick in American politics, and the republicans would be idiots to fall for it.
Give Biden nothing, not even lunch money, or he’ll screw the country and then gloat about how he got over on MAGA.

Johnson is softening. He is equivocating to say "illegal" crossings to end. That means he is OK with "legal" crossings and redefining illegal to legal. I don't trust a thing about this mess.

The only thing it takes to end the invasion is the will to do it. No new laws are needed.
