This is great. Foreign aid is just away for politicians to pay off overseas cronies.

Correction. I think it is stupid to give a no recourse no interest loan. WE should at least charge interest equal to what we are having to pay to borrow the money to loan plus say 25 to 50%.

As for recourse, take it out in kind in resources. We sure don't want anymore people or the territory that goes with them.

This is Trump being Trump, talking off the cuff in a calculated, preplanned unguarded moment to provoke a response and evaluate it. It is not a campaign promise or policy statement of what he will do if he gets elected again.

Trump gave out lots of foreign aid while President, including weapons to Ukraine. He's going fishing, everyone is taking the bait, as usual.
