“My kids grew up eating Banquet pot pies, ick”
When my ex and I were at his first duty station in 1971, there was a mix-up in his payroll for a few weeks. We lived on 17-cent frozen pot pies from the BX. Double ick! Wouldn’t eat them for about 40 years after that.
Also sorry re measurements; most of my family's recipes ( some that go bake many 100s of years, but no, not this meatloaf one. LOL )have NO modern type measurement at all.
Whooooooooooooooops...yes the maple syrup goes ON, not INTO, the corn fritters.
What a story about your family member making maple syrup and selling it to Vermont! WOW!!!!!!
When I was in college, in N.H., I got to see maple trees being tapped and then the process of making the syrup. I found it fascinating.
