You’re really good at building strawmen and knocking them down.
“”The paper does its best to make it sound like losing the union will impact the job””
Let’s see.......immediate impact of no longer paying monthly union dues, sounds like a pay raise.
What do the DemocRATS always scream...”more money for teachers!”
You try way too hard to pump him up. I hope you’re getting paid. I think it’s getting close to your shift change.
Honestly, considering the kind of Republicans we have in GA, I’m jealous as hell of what they have in Florida.
However, the DeSantis gang can’t even acknowledge the political reality of his situation, but start flinging poo at anyone who does.
Modern day workers need a union like a fish needs a bicycle.
(Yes, feminists used to say it but it still works.)
The nation’s unionization rate – the proportion of employed workers who are union members – is now the lowest on record, at 10 percent. Only one in 10 American workers is a union member, down from nearly one in three workers during the 1950s.
Organized labor today is dominated by public-sector employees, whose membership rate of 33.1 percent is more than five times higher than the 6 percent rate of private-sector employees.
Public-sector unions were virtually unheard of in the U.S. until the mid-1950s, when private-sector unions began to decline and local, state and federal governments expanded massively. Union membership rates currently are highest among police officers and firefighters (34.6 percent) and teachers (33.7 percent). They are lowest in sales (3.0 percent), computer and mathematical occupations (3.3 percent), and food preparation/serving (3.6 percent) – all jobs related to the dominant service economy and tech sector.

Trump has certainly been effective at boosting Republican representation since he became president. Oh wait - that hasn’t happened.
Sanctimony - don’t think that gets you success in convincing others to take your side.
“A labor economist warned the law could prove to be more effective in destroying labor power in Florida than the landmark Act 10 proved to be in Wisconsin, a law broadly considered as one of the strongest anti-union laws ever passed by a state government.”
Bwahahahhahaha!
Suck it up, Bucky!
Thanks for proving my point.
Florida’s Legislature handed off a good one to sign.
Thanks Ron, for signing it.
Women, children, and backpacker_c hurt most.
>> Floridians keep winning with Governor DeSantis.
We don’t normally agree but I wholeheartedly agree with you on this one.
Screw public sector unions!!! Good and HARD.
>> Our praise might cause them to harm themselves or at a minimum post some cult inanity.
You’re making that up. It’s nowhere near true, from what I have observed here.
lol ...
Florida ran without desanctimonious making daily press conferences and spending tax payer money as bribes...
it can do without desanctus for the rest of his term
Hey-even Trump retired the name calling on DeSantis-if we keep the name calling up we lose-indpendent women voters hate it, they vote 2/1 against Trump. That is why Trump is up +20 on issues but just +2% on Realclearpoltics polls, even kicking out the lefty ones-when asked what they hate about Trump and Trump supporters calling it childish.
blah, blah, blah....
any interested could look at your posting history, and see you try to guilt everyone into being submissive moderate rino positions, instead of trying to fight for America First type positions...
It will be fun to see the backpedaling if Trump decides to mend fences with DeSantis and picks for him for Vice President!
(I don’t think DeSantis will be Trump’s choice, but it could turn out that way.)
“However, the DeSantis gang can’t even acknowledge the political reality of his situation, but start flinging poo at anyone who does.”
WTF? You’re from Georgia but come onto a FL thread to talk S about our governor? Go off and GAF about national media and politics which are so corrupt no honest person can participate.
The interests and welfare of The People (<<US Constitution) are in no way represented or served by the focus of your interests - national media and politics. So WTF are you doing talking-S about a state and Gov that are well run? You work for Disney or something? A groomer?
You have your work cut out for you. Leave FL alone, we fixed our problems (vote fraud-democrats-and-unions) and Gov Desantis has been at the forefront the whole way.
Ending extortion. That’s awesome!
...now that he's gone back to doing the job he was elected to do.
Unions aren’t really interested in representing workers, they just say they are to get certified. It’s the dues they’re really interested in as an income stream for the left. If one looks at what the national teachers union promotes primarily it isn’t education.
