I think you missed the point - Sanctimony is not Gov DeSantis’ game -
It is interesting you throw out ‘flinging poo’ when it came from the team that demonstrated sanctimony in believing the debates were beneath them.
Don’t forget the name calling and Trump ‘forgetting’ what a fighter he called DeSantis when the Governor was in Congress.
Trump is weak politically - that is the reality - his behavior to become the candidate showed it. Too bad we have a bunch of Swifties supporting their boy on both sides. I would be pleased with a Trump victory and he pushes to put all these grifters in prison - I am not confident that will happen either.
I state a simple, obvious fact, and you nuts lose your minds. Hell, the worst thing about DeSantis seems to be his supporters.

Public sector unions should be illegal. This is a good start.
The government workers will still have civil service protection which makes it just as hard to fire someone.

I just think he used bad judgment, and/or took bad advice, in running for President this election.
And you know what? From his performance so far, my assessment seems quite correct.
I'm not so confident of what he would accomplish politically, even if elected, without the comfort of a Republican super-majority.
That was the only point I made, originally, but it was enough to smoke the usual DeSantis nuts out of their holes.
But I'll give you this promise: if DeSantis gets the nomination, I will happily vote for him.
I can tell you right now; my wife was a teacher for 32 years and she HATED her union.
She called them “Union LEFTY LIBERALS”, she told me that it didn’t matter to the union officials what their rank and file wanted, they wanted OBAMA—DROOL, SLOBBER, MOAN, PANT— and the membership that disagreed could just pay their due and shut up!
I have a hard time thinking who we put in POTUS will change anything. The disappointing thing about this run at our candidate was underwhelming. DeSantis got rolled by the crass media and Ever Trumpers. When Trump surrogates were calling Casey DeSantis a c**t and all the bad press DeSantis got and none of it related to policy. What a shame.
Trump is more flawed as a candidate now than 2016.
1) he pimps the jab
2) he demagogues his own team
3) I don’t think he knows who is on his team
4) AT LEAST 50% of voters hate him for Supreme Court appointees overturning Roe v Wade
5) nothing has been done to correct voting environment in several states = allowing cheating to continue
6) avoiding any debate/confrontation is a Biden play - Trump should address the tough questions
Recent events and actions of Trump reveal Trump’s plan is Art of the Deal - not standing on principle (including Constitutional Originalism)
Plus, totally disgusted with the NY court ruling on his business activity - like I heard before; the Stamp Act was a 1% increase in tax in 1765 - the American Revolution almost started then with that act - we just don’t get it today. I take that ruling as government declaring war against private property and standard business practices.
