Little different, but “Russia” is not the Soviets of 45. The rest that you did not include adds context to that statement.

we will never know, how successful the Soviets would been without all the aid they received.

Also when you are dealing with asymmetric warfare. Numbers don’t mean everything ie Soviet Afghanistan , American Vietnam

This is the first war in awhile where the major combatants are uniformed and there are actual lines on the map.

With that said Ukraine appears to exploiting the asymmetric side better than the muscovites, that or muskovites actually have a smoking accident problem

People are surprised? The MIC stooges in DC have stumbled us into a generational, multi trillion dollar new Cold War arm race. Don’t forget we also have two brand new NATO dead beats to arm. The DC MIC oligarchs have their massive profits ensured for the next twenty years. All part of the plan.

Vietnam had the full backing of China and the Soviet Union, with complete access to their production and relatively close logistics. Ask the French for additional details.

Finland and Sweden are far from dead beats, before making that comment do some research. Those two are better equipped than many other NATO nations

If by massive uses of meat waves and equipment columns destroyed before hitting the zero line, artillery(usage way down from a year ago) aerial bombs

Then I guess they are hitting their ww2 stride

The Russian forces fighting today are better trained and better equipped then they were during the battle for Bahkmut

Sure, the Russians are "better equipped" now with T-62s that the Soviet Union built in the 1960s. Okay

Send your sons and daughters to die for globohomo!

Sure, that's why Ukraine's soldiers are fighting ferociously against the Russians, and not because of Russian brutality. Okay

A dead body lies on the ground in a street in Bucha, northwest of Kyiv on April 2, 2022.

The Hill is reporting like they know something. “Likely to” means nothing and is pure made up propaganda.

Yeah right. Maybe you should investigate how much money the U.S. has plowed into NATO compared to all the other NATO dead beats the last 70 years. Finland and Sweden have been neutral with relatively undefended borders. They didn’t need to defend those borders until they joined the globohomo campaign to destroy Russia (21st century NATO). Sure, Finland and Sweden will pay their “fair” dead beat share like ALL the other dead beat partners have done for 70 years. In Brussels you trust, right? What a chump!

Russia can’t fully staff the Finland border so where are all of these troops coming from? Putin can’t just wish them into existence.

Some analysts believe Putin will call for greater conscription AFTER the presidential elections.

Is this the same Russia that is collapsing from within?

The propagandists need to keep it simple—otherwise the sheeple get confused.

The US provided $11.3 billion in military aid to the Soviet Union when Germany invaded it in WWII, which has a value of $180 billion in today’s dollars - more than TWICE what we have given Ukraine so far. That included 13,000 tanks and 14,000 aircraft.

So anyone saying that aid to Ukraine is useless and should not be any of our business is, frankly, an idiot.

Our business should be our border.

Seal it tight—then we get to worry about other borders.

Agreed- the disaster on the border is and has been Biden’s biggest and most egregious failure. But why is this always a zero-sum argument? The issue on the southern border is a policy failure, not a funding failure. Apples and oranges.

If so then the lie to justify conscription will be that Russia needs border troops. Once conscripted these new mobliks will be sent to die in Ukraine. Just like the guys who used to be the border troops.

Here is why it is not apples and oranges.

There is a crime wave in your community.

You decide the proper response is to send money to Ukraine while leaving your back door open.

Gee maybe Finland and Sweden abandoning neutrality, joining NATO and making plans for NATO hosting bases…had something to do with this Russian force buildup…yah think?

This is an example of our backstabbing NATO “partners”. The last of the Uke cannon fodder is being mauled and our “partner” is holding their ability to survive ransom for a few more million in blood money. The whole thing is a globohomo/MIC money and territory grab.
