One must learn when it is advantageous to fight, and when to use other means as taught by Sun-Tzu in the Art of War. Our real strength at the moment is the fact that the US dollar is the world's reserve currency. We have military might, but we use million dollar munitions to take out, often unsuccessfully, objects of war that cost considerably less. Ukraine's best offense has come from the use of drones, not highly sophisticated weapons. That strength we have enjoyed, has been severely eroded by the unfettered spending that is dooming our economic superiority, and it is hastening the world to seek an alternative to the dollar which is in grave danger as it becomes more & more devalued in the opinion of the world, and rightly so
It people like you who wrongly believe that we are invincible and thus are reluctant to do what is necessary to save this nation, which is why you are willing to engage in follies such as Ukraine. No logic can convince you that you are wrong. Sadly, it will take reality to convince you.

Europe is committing suicide, as is the US currently, so what exactly are we saving Ukraine from? Tyranny? That is taking hold across the globe. Once the US is gone, then who is going to save Ukraine? The answer of course is, no one.
You are not helping the Ukrainian people, and if you actually had a functioning brain, you would already recognize that fact for yourself. Do you believe you are buying your way to heaven? Think again, because the road to hell is paved with good intentions. Wake up to reality man. Your children & grandchildren live here, they do not live in Ukraine. If they do you need to bring them back to the US & join the fight of good vs. evil. Right now you are assisting evil..

I remember when I was in Germany, then West Germany, at the Fulda Gap, across from the Warsaw Pact army about equal in size to our own. We practiced fighting while retreating. We were under no delusions. Our hope was to hold the communists long enough for reinforcements to arrive. Not for the arrival of maggots living off what they consider to be the rotting corpse of this country. My son took his turn defending us, this country and our allies, in his day. He’s no maggot. And my grandson, well, we’ll see if he turns into a maggot or a patriot.
Time for you to stop gazing back at the past, because this is the now,, not the past. Those days that you remember, they are not even the days your son remembers, and today is not like either of you remember.
