In reality, the President can unwind the deep state bureaucracy on which the Senate’s power is predicated. Trump just didn’t correctly gauge how corrupt the deep state was and he implemented only half-way measures. Not even that.
He should have fired every Asst Attorney General and the heads and first two layers of the CIA, FBI and State Department right off the bat.

Which country are you talking about? Certainly not the USA. What is good for our nation is not at all a factor in any of the Senate's unnatural acts. Senators act in their own individual self interests. You don't become a millionaire on a government salary unless you're a crook.

Setmayer is really a piece of work. Manages to put every Democrat talking point in her statements. Hardly someone to be taken as credible. Especially her quoting Maggie Haberman as a source for some of her thoughts.

Well, President Trump better adapt, improvise and overcome. Because the House and Senate have to be contended with and ultimately worked with. People may not like that - but it is reality.
