Get into electricity and energy production
AI chips and server-farms are adding to US electricity demand equal to the city of Houston, every year.
If AI can do your job, it wasn’t that hard/useful in the first place.
If AI & all these illegal aliens are cutting into jobs & wages, shouldn’t the D.C. elite be part of that? If everyone’s wages were reduced, then prices would HAVE to come down.
Well, I’d sure like to see how AI would diagnose & repair a modern automobile....and do it for the wages the techs get. Actually, since they (AI) are so advanced they should be able to do this work for less.
OK. But that still doesn’t explain why a vote for Trump is going to stop AI.
AI isn’t the economic woes they need to worry about as much as the illegals taking jobs to flat line wages it’s one part of Biden & Co. plan.
To have socialism to work you need people to depend on the government for things.

Most of the auto mechanics and HVAC people I know aren’t worried about losing their jobs to AI, and some now make over $150k (with overtime).

I did indeed say that Trump will not allow AI to replace man.
The top loses their job to AI, The middle loses theirs to IA (illegal Aliens). The bottom never had any work to lose..

Ban all AI? Ban AI research? Lead an international consortium against AI?
Don't learn to code learn how to operate an excavator or do plumbing or framing. Things AI will never be able to do.
Having said that if AI can get rid of 90% of attorneys I see no downside.

I hope you don’t mind me saying that you are very negative. You are the only one talking about banning things. The calculator didn’t leave people using a slide-rule unemployed. The computer didn’t leave people using a calculator unemployed.
There is a whole universe of things to do out there. Sitting around, freezing in the dark isn’t going to get them done. That’s how I see Trump helping.
