I worked in Hollywood back in the late 1980s/90s. Overwhelmingly Jewish among the studio and network execs, agents, managers, attorneys, producers and writers.
Not very religious, but they have a very strong sense of "Jewish identity" (as they might put it), are very sensitive to anti-Semitism, and are very respectful to Holocaust Remembrance.
Although not religious, they overwhelmingly insist that if they marry a gentile, that the gentile convert to Judaism, even if they themselves haven't been to a synagogue in years. And because intermarriage is common, Hollywood is full of Jews with half or more "gentile blood."
And at least back in the 1990s, Hollywood Jews were mostly very pro-Israel.

In my lifetime I met Chinese intelligence agents once when they arrived to scout out my university campus around 1980 as the first three students (two male and one female).
I met two South African intelligence agents later in the 1980’s when I attended the National Religious Broadcasters convention where there was ostensibly a tourism table in an exhibition hall.
