The term “principled conservative” apparently means the same thing as Romney’s “severely conservative” description. I had never really heard of Todd Young before, so maybe this is the only way he can gain attention but that could backfire as he sounds like someone who needs to be primaried.

Young just lost my vote when/if he runs for re-election.

Party members don’t have to align with the majority of voters from their party, but there needs to be a reason other that being miffed at being left out and “taken for granted.”

I am at the point that if you don’t support Trump for 2024, then you are an enemy of the Republic. It’s coming down to him or Biden, so the choice is obvious.

And Senator Young will NOT receive many votes from conservatives in Indiana when he comes up for re-election. He’s about as RINO as they come, a Senator Lugar clone, and he’s pissed off many people in the Hoosier state.
