The good thing is there are 3 vacant seats that will be filled with GOP reps. by May or June, when the special elections are over.
If Hakeem wants to be the next DEI speaker, let him have it. He would also be the shortest-tenured one in history when the majority flips back in a few weeks.
MTG is a mixed bag. I don’t agree with everything she does, but she’s not to blame if republicans lose their majority before the election. And if they lose it in November, it won’t be because of her.

It would seem, with eleven or so House seats in the “toss-up” category, the GOP has better things to pursue than a motion to vacate resolution.

It is very easy to oust a speaker right now because the democrats all join in to vote them out. The problem is in replacing the speaker. That won’t go so well. So I have mixed feeling on this. However I am convince that we all had the wool pulled over our eyes when it comes to Johnson. He is an infiltrator.
