That is possible, but think about it, using a thumb drive to update software on multiple voting machines to change the outcome of the election.

How many voting machines are used in just one major county like Maricopa in Arizona, hundreds at a minimum, how many would have to be hacked to alter the outcome of the election as you suggest, compared to 2-4% of the votes are fraudulent, because voters rolls are not properly maintained, mail in voting exists combined with ballot harvesting, the fraudulent votes are harvested and turned in as valid and no judge anywhere will invalidate them.

Under my scenario, the way the votes are counted is immaterial because they should both produce the same result.

How many voting machines are used in just one major county

It's not the voting machines that have to be altered, it's the end source that collects all the information provided by the voting machines then alters it.

Here's a brief explanation on how some locations operate:

Both Hart InterCivic and ES&S use encrypted USB drives inside their voting systems to collect voting data and physically move those drives to county election departments to tabulate, or count, votes."

In the case of Wayne County in Detroit, there were major shenanigans that took place election night in 2020. At 8:00 p.m. when poles closed, all the Republican watchers were forced out of the TCF Center then the remaining officials put cardboard over the outside windows to prevent the Republican watchers outside from seeing what was going on.

At approx. 3:30 am, a black sedan pulled up outside the back door of the center, waited for about 5 minutes, then left. Shortly after, a white van is caught on surveillance camera pulling up to the back door and unloading boxes of ballots. Approx. 15 minutes later, another white van pulled up and unloaded more.

Inside the center is where the final tabulators were located and all the paper ballots were fed into them. It's the software on those tabulators that could easily have been altered by simply inserting a USB thumb drive.

A manual recount was held. Focusing on the voting machines is a trap designed by the deep state to hide the real crime.

The only way to cheat is to add fake ballots to the vote stream.

I understand all that, even tabulators are numerous, each one would have to be altered, you just described exactly what I’m talking about boxes of unaccounted for ballots just showed up, the count would be the same regardless of using a machine or hand counting.

Here’s how it works in my county, each precinct tabulates the votes for that precinct and reports the totals with documentation to the county which totals all the precincts together, that’s one of the ways Florida reports over 7 million votes by midnight and everything certified and everyone goes howm.

Until you rid the system of as many ballots as possible that are fraudulent, the counting method is meaningless.

One other thought, if you can hack the machines to change the vote totals, why do you need boxes and boxes of extra ballots.

If one million votes were cast and the real count is 50/50, but hacked machines show 51/49 for Biden, why in the middle of the night do you need all those extra boxes of ballots.

I’m not disagreeing with you about major shenanigans going on, the difference is where the fraud is coming from.

Hacked machines could be a problem, IMO it’s way down the list of potential fraud areas, until you eliminate as many fraudulent ballots as you can nothing will change the cheating that goes on.

My story from years ago (trying to revive my I/T career, I thought this might let me do it - wrong!)

I took an I/T Manager job. In reality, they only wanted me to fix the horrible mess they made of an AS/400 with native S/36 code.

First day on the job, user gets ransomware virus. We confiscated the machine next day on Monday. Nothing could save it.

7 weeks later, another user got a worse ransomware virus. NO real-time virus protection. No security Admin protection. No LAN. No SAN, No tape daily backups (Like the AS/400). Nothing.

I shut the machine down and prepared to confiscate it that afternoon. Told them it was unrecoverable. Left a note on the monitor; DO NOT TOUCH.

About 30 minutes later, find my idiot boss and his idiot boss along with the department manager of sales WITH THE MACHINE RESTARTED TRYING TO CONNECT TO THE SALES LEAD PC.

Shocked, I asked them what (in the world) were they were doing?

About 30 minutes later, my boss’ idiot boss, the plant manager was cursing at me.

They were too stupid to learn a thing. I resigned. It was nothing but a mess. Worst mistake of my career walking into that horrible mess (Kansas).
