Just another comment on your gun analogy.
In the early days of guns they were just as likely to blow up in your face and injure or kill you as they were to correctly fire and injure or kill your enemy.
Imho that is where crypto is now.
The deeply flawed musket might be legal—but that solves nothing when it blows up in your face.
