It’s refreshing to hear a teacher, any teacher, speak the truth about what has been happening in our schools. We all know it, but teachers usually won’t talk about it for fear they’ll be called racist or some such.

I’ve sinced moved to a better high school in the county and I work in ESE. General Ed is a dead end, and I feel I’m serving the community much better by helping the developmentally delayed.
But the Gen Ed pop at the high school is much higher end as well — young suburbanites with actual futures.
I still can’t understand the fetishization of the feral ghetto thug in our culture. They’re disgusting and hopeless, and I can’t get the appeal of an illiterate, backward thug with gold teeth and hair like spray painted cheetohs.

You have NO idea how exhausted I am with the ‘lets. I taught them at a middle school for two months before leaving. I couldn’t get the little turds under control.
Some of my kids were in 8th grade... and FIFTEEN YEARS OLD and were reading at a second grade level... only we had to cross out the grade level on the work sheets because seeing how stupid they were got them angry.
We had to cater to these pieces o’ shite lest their tender little egos get damaged. But... they thought they were the BOMB.
I have finally realized we can’t work things out with them... and I want NOTHING to do with them, and especially with their satin-bonneted she-boon mamas.
