I believe there are only a tiny minority of members of congress that have the slightest care about their decent ordinary American constituents.

Only the Paul Family comes to mind.

Yeah, but the Democrat Party back then were still for the U.S.

As a result I disagreed with them less than I do today, where I find nothing I can support them on. Henry Martin Jackson hated communism, just as much as we do.

Ukraine needs Americans in American Government and out of Ukraine.

I think Mike Johnson has an opportunity to salvage the disaster Joe Biden, Zelensky and the rest of the dead enders driving this conflict to the bitter end for their own corrupt purposes have created in Ukraine.

Absent US funding the Ukraine will likely collapse both militarily and economically by summer.

This would be bad for all parties ( and the rest of the world) , including the Russians.

It is in the interest of everyone to cease fire and negotiate and armistice ASAP.

Johnson may have the leverage to be the adult in the room and make the Ukraine funding contingent upon a near term end to the war.

If he can pull this off, he will be a hero and he will have done the world a great service.

If successfully, this will stop the death and destruction in Ukraine and allow portions of the aid package to be used for reconstruction of a post war Ukraine instead of even more extensive continued destruction. Russia pressing this war to it's ultimate conclusion will destroy most of whats left of Ukraine's infrastructure

Yes, I agree. But sadly those in power disagree with us. I think this all about trying to create & install a One World Government. Aside from that goal, I think nothing else matters to these lunatics.

They believe they are the smart ones who should determine how life on this earth should operate. They believe this planet is a mess, so their tinkering could only serve to improve life.

But that improvement would obviously be to their benefit, while we get what they deem we deserve at any given point in time based upon something akin to a social credit score.

Good point.

Even the 'little stuff' is sufficient.

In the General/Chat forum, on a thread titled Q ~ Trust Trump's Plan ~ 03/4/21 Vol.340, Q Day 1224, Sobieski at Kahlenberg Mtn. wrote:

Ukraine Runs through many corrupt congress critters starting with Isolep LLC’s involvement in slush funds:

They love the power along with their ability to enrichment themselves at the expense of the labor of others who fill the coffers they have access to.

It’s absurd, Congress is “appropriating” money, but the government has to BORROW billions from say, China or India or whoever (at interest) in order to GIVE it to the Ukraine.

All of this without any declaration of war. I didn’t vote for this, and neither did anybody else. I don’t hate the Ukraine nor do I support Russia or any other permutation or combination.

It’s not our fight, and America can’t afford it, and has profoundly disturbing problems of her own.

If this is so damned vital, as we are constantly told, why not make a declaration of war?

Congress has not done so since 1941.

Why?

The reason that the West has not fully commited troops to the Ukraine is that our all-volunteer professional forces are not large enough. NATO troops can only be supported with a draft and Westerners are not going to support a draft that does not include illegal alien invaders. To institute a draft and not include the illegal alien invaders would cause unrest and revolutions across the West and the collapse of governments. Our garbage leadership is finding out that they’re illegal alien invasion is a blessing and a curse.

It’s absurd...

Standard operating procedure for the US Government since the mid 1950's.

Any Republican voting for more money to Ukraine is as much the enemy as any Democrat.

Agree.

Ukraine will lose.

The only question is: how big America will lose?
