Well, the fix is already in for 2024, even at the congressional seat level, so we will be stuck with Jeffries in 2025 anyways.

GOP-Uni-Party will see the country in a big pile of ashes before they let Trump be dog catcher.

Washington D.C. is a wholly owned leviathan of the Leftists/Democrats/Globalists and there is no way to fix it other than to tear it down and start over at this point, it is far too big to change with your vote.

“...let the whole thing burn down.”

Already on fire, and there is no fire department, or even fire extinguishers, on call or available.

The Republicans have FAR too narrow a margin for principle to be meaningful. And yet, the RINOs stand a very good chance of being returned to their seats in the House as most of them are not facing a primary challenge, and it is very late in the game.

“This time, it’s possible that the next House Speaker could be Democratic Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries.”

Scare tactics. Fear mongering. Vote for the lesser of 2 evils because the other guy is worse.

This is the same tactic that the left uses to keep black people on the Democrat plantation.

Um no. Social Security and Medicare are ponzi schemes which will fail by design.

FDR, LBJ, and the Dems knew this from the start.

I disagree. When FDR set up Social Security it should have been sustainable. The raiding of SS for “The Grand Society” put it on path to insolvency. That was all LBJ. I am no fan of FDR but the original setup was sustainable.

Yes, you hit the nail on the head. It’s what many don’t understand. The election is in 6 and a half months that’s what we need to concentrate on. After that, we can set things in order in the House which will be a new House anyway.

This time, it’s possible that the next House Speaker could be Democratic Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries.

With Jeffries as speaker, how could conservatives lose any less? Serious question. We already get nothing for agreeing to vote in ways that align with elitist exploitation of law-abiding citizens. The days of fellow GOP/conservatives telling us that “it could get worse” or “there’s consequences for elections” is beginning to sound like “Crying Wolf!”.

Passing the John Lewis voting act will be fun. A national abortion bill allowing abortion up to birth sounds great. Oh expanding the Supreme Court (I believe you don’t care about the senate either). Getting rid of the filibuster will be awesome. You are nuts!!!!!!!!!

Let me attempt to persuade you otherwise.

1. The average life expectancy when SSN passed was 65, and the sponsors of the bill knew this.

2. SSN is purely an entitlement program to which an individuals contributions have no bearing on their eligibility to receive it per Flemming vs. Nestor.

That’s what I’ve been screaming all day. These idiots are going to sell America for 60 billion dollars. I hate Ukraine getting the money but I hate the total loss of America even more

If the GOPE votes to install a Democrat speaker there will be no forgiveness, there will be no amnesty, the Republican party will be done as a political party nationally and within an election cycle or two at the state level. I would tell ever FR Republican Party worshipers to drop dead you leftist shills.

Why would anyone waste any more time, effort, money and votes for a party that outright votes with your political enemies more than it does it’s own voters.

As of January 2025 the democrats will have a huge House majority and Jeffries will be Speaker then, anyway.

Just get used to it.

I guess you like the idea of 30 million new voters before the election.

You are willing to sell America for 60 billion

Yes, that’s entirely possible. The Senate is looking better for the election, but not the House. That’s why need to concentrate on the 2024 election rather than this lame duck House of Representatives.

The only loss of a Democrat speaker will be the loss of Committee chairs. But I wonder if there has been any real work accomplished in the last year and a half. And it may be that the GOP caucus will see losing control of the committees is the price they pay for choosing losers as speakers. I get a sense that many GOP reps have a deep dislike for the new direction of the party and would rather be in the minority.
