Unfortunately it is too serious of a matter to simply wave it off because of the source. There definitely is more to dig in there and our politicians should pledge their oath before they campaign, not after when they get elected. At this rate democracy is going to eviscerate the US if the campaigners do not care about what their allegiances are.

Actually, I read somewhere here that Issa said that there were 40 news outlets, and that 38 got his comments right, and the Tehran Times and some other outlet, both with some rather Byzantine agenda, deliberately got it wrong. He said that it was taped. Which brings up the obvious question: where is the tape?

Amazing, my mind just does not function like demoRATS. I will never understand living with NO conscience, no honor, nor wanting either as well.

Thank you Ronnie.

I happen to live in Issa's district. Dems there are rather thin on the ground. It is one of the two most GOP districts in California. The only vote fraud that would have a chance of making a difference would be in a GOP primary. :)

I will, but the fact Issa is a liberal with typical curiosity for the next death cult, like "Johny" "Lennon" Walker, I am laughing in expectation, for better or for worse. .

Why in God's name would you believe the Tehran Times and Deb Schlussel over what Issa says? I hope it wasn't his ethnic background.

I dunno, why would arabs have to believe Bin Laden's tape is authentic? You know, others need not repent to you when you are in total denial.

I know, faith in evil is never questioned.

If he is the best they can do, then California Republicans are hurting and so are you --

I wouldn't put too much credence in what Schlussel or her sycophants have to say. Her racial agenda has the transparency of a window before the glass is installed. Her preference is to categorize native born citizens (Issa was a captain in the U.S.A. army) as Arab-Americans, which would be similar to calling me British-American (WASP-American?) which is really quite absurd.

Additionally, all of his critics obviously haven't been to his website to investigate his voting record. He has an extensive record of co-sponsoring tax cutting measures during his tenure, which to me, is one of the primary tenet's of conservatism. He also co-chaired the campaign to pass the California Civil Rights Iniative (elimination of racial preferences), is a stong supporter of the military and sponsored a bill expressing support for the President in using all means at his disposal to encourage the establishment of a democratically elected government in Iraq.

Issa was the guy who became enraged when the airlines tagged him for a search, or something like that. I think he was late and he didn't go through the normal routine and because he was a Congressman he thought the rules shouldn't apply to him. At any rate, that's him and now that I know his true colors, I hope we watch him.

I'll believe Darrell when he gets a little bit pickier about the people from whom he accepts campaign donations.

Hint: Think American Museum Council.

...No, actually, I was the Caller on the other end of the line on Talk Radio's ..'The Judicial Watch Report'.. doing the asking directly to Congresman DARRELL ISSA who was on his own Cell Phone from the Floor of the House.

...Then I turned on my local 12 Noon TV News and there was the FBI announcing two arrests of individuals caught in the process of getting ready to bomb Congressman DARRELL ISSA's Los Angeles Office.

...Only .."Stuffies".. I'm on here are REALITY pills.
