I consider myself low on the totem pole of knowledgeable Christians. So, don't look for answers from me Don't sell yourself out Alice. You have access to an audience that would immediately reject the "standard" Christian. And you know how to reach them - we don't.

Raised in a Christian home, he still believed in God, although he was not committed. If I'm not mistaken, his father was (is?) a preacher.

This is actually fairly old news. I've known of Cooper's conversion for a couple of years now. I am impressed by his mature approach--not wanting to pose as the dispenser of sacred knowledge based on his celebrity status, but his willingness to be a humble student of Christ.
BTW, I have read that Glen Campbell, who is also born-again, and Alice play 18 holes of golf every day. They are prayer and accountability partners and attend the same church in Phoenix. Pretty cool.

If I'm not mistaken, his father was (is?) a preacher. That is correct. He was (is) either a Baptist or Assembly of God preacher. "Raise up a child in the way he should go..."

His "PAST?" You're joking, right? Singing a bunch of occasionally stupid, occasionally pretty good songs qualifies him as morally worse than SAUL OF TARSUS?
And I know Moses was Old Covenant, but I recall something about him being a murderer. And this guy, King David, didn't he order a man's death so he would steal his wife? Yeah, that Alice Cooper is a real threat.

I have always considered the parable of the workers in the vineyard to be the most inspiring in the Bible. God is patient with us and welcomes us whenever our heart is moved. 5 years old or 50 years old, prodigal son or loyal son, he loves us all.

When I was growing up Patriotism was the last resort of the scoundrel.
Around the early 1970s Religion became the last resort of the scoundrels and continues to this day. - Tom
