The more I see and hear of Parsky, he starts to smell like a Bill Kristol, a RAT/MOLE intent on driving the party off the right side of the road and over a 1000' cliff.

These RAT/MOLES abhor a Republican President or Republican governor and in particuliar one who is will be popular across the party lines like Simon is!

Read Carry Okie's reply #7 above re the dump truck stickers. There are a lot things that we can do to help and bypass Parsky and other RAT/MOLES or whatever their real political leaning is.

Let Carry know if you can help in your area with the big Dump Truck Stickers. I will put on the back of my big OJ Simpson Bronco on its tailgate and carry stickers around to give to those want them.

How is it that going against Rove and Bush is being a "screw party devotee"? I prefer to take the local party back from them (BTW, I call them RINOcrats). As for whether we know that they are in the hands of the internationalists, global federalists, communists, or whatever, well duh, as if I didn't know? So what? We don't have a lot of options you know.

So I guess you are buying bullets? That's your alternative in California or else running away, or did you already do that? I think Simon has a chance. I don't suppose you remember that Reagan got the same treatment in 1968? Davis is just pathetic enough that we might get away with it again.

If I were Simon's campaign, I wouldn't want much help from the CRP, either. While some of the staff are competent, they are filled with "professional" staffers, many of whom have never volunteered for a campaign prior to their job, or worked the grassroots. They are in it "for the team", not "for the cause". But the Republican Party is NOT a team like the Kings or the Dodgers; it is a political party that stands for principles and ideas, causes and actions. Just because some do not believe in the tenets of the platform does not make the platform any less important or justified.

Now, I don't understand completely how a statewide campaign works or doesn't work with the state party, but I do know that based on what some high-up, country club Republicans have said, they think that Simon will lose because he's pro-life. What they don't understand is that he will lose if he is PRO-ABORTION! The reason: why would any Democrats or Independents vote for someone who is "just like" Gray Davis? Why would conservative Republicans go out and vote for someone who is pro-abortion? The abortion issue IS A WASH when it is between a pro-abort Dem and a pro-life Republican. It is a NEGATIVE for Republicans when there is a pro-abort Dem and a pro-abort Rep. 30% of the Republicans will just stay home, and pro-life Democrats (they exist!) will vote Democrat or stay home as well.

These people do not understand that conservative Republicans can and should win IF they run a solid campaign, building the grassroots, and spreading the word.

If the state party doesn't want to run an absentee ballot program, sobeit. They would probably f*** it up anyway. Just GET OUT OF THE WAY and let Simon run the operation.

Go Simon! Kick liberal butt!

There's more than one way to destroy America. Osama bin Parsky has to lose his job PDQ.

Yes. The state party is too cheap. They expect miracles to be made happen. A state wide absentee voter program will help ALL Republicans from the top and down. Democrats moblize their voters, we dont. We loose. If we get our voters voting, we will win many races.

So what do you propose as an alternative? Caving in without a fight? At least Carry_Okie has the gumption to say, "Let's do what we can with what we've got." This is what productive people do.

I've spent $300,000 lost income, dropped a successful career, and devoted three years at over 80 hrs/week doing something about unconstitutional civic regulation. The plan has a prayer of succeeding. If that's not enough for you then that's too damn bad.

Shades of Schundler. Who will be responsible for getting more Democrats elected: Tom Daschle or the Republican party?
