Are you saying that because a "man" exploits a 5 year old, all heterosexuals are child-predators? I'm under the opinion that homosexuals have identity problems, yes, but I don't blame them for anything. I don't think I'm superior or that my view is unchangeable. It's just that I don't go around flagging the world with big rainbow signs that I LOVE MEN and all the sexuality that comes with it.

If a convicted child-molester was out of jail after serving a sentence, and wanted to be a boy-scouts leader for your son, well, he's served his time, society deems him "safe", would you send little Bobby out camping with him? I'm not saying homosexual and child-molester are comparable, but I do think both have problems I don't want my kid to get involved with. You ever had a gut-feeling about someone not being "right"? Well, there's mine!

I agree on this! Why have we let the homosexuals ruin so many good institutions? Where is the outrage?

I heard about gay priests over twenty years ago, rumors through the grapevines.

There were 'unexpected transfers' of priests happening as far back as the early to mid 1950s (and probably before that).

Nobody would ever dare say why these priests were transferred but there were many indications that they had gotten caught diddling the altar boys.

For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. . .so the scriptures tell us. ALL ARE IN NEED OF GRACE—GOD’S GRACE. ALL includes the “dirtbags” as FreedomFriend refers to them. As a Christian reading all of your comments, I am deeply saddened by your ignorance and mean-spiritedness. I have a picture in my mind of Jesus weeping and Satan dancing. Satan dancing because he has accomplished what he has wished, and Jesus weeping because His children are throwing daggers at each other instead of showering grace.

Remember, sin is sin. God looks upon all sin as the same whether it be telling a white lie, viewing pornography online, looking lustfully upon another, committing adultery, keeping extra change from the cashier, speeding, cheating on your income taxes, gossiping about a neighbor or friend, telling off-color jokes, loving money and obsessing over material objects, making racist or prejudicial remarks, drinking a little too much alcohol, premarital sex, PRIDE. . .and the list of human vices goes on and on and on. What sin is your chronic sin? The one you can’t seem to get rid of? What makes you worthy to be a Big Brother or Big Sister? Better yet, what sins do you commit daily that make you an unfit role model? We are all unworthy of God’s Grace, but still, He sent His one and only begotten Son to die for ALL OF OUR SINS so that we may live. I think that some of you have lost sight of that.

And to Bill Rice: “Cut off all donations until your church listens. . .At the very least, beat the living snot out of them a few times. God will forgive you.” I do believe that God’s word specifically says that vengeance is God’s. Shame on you for encouraging violence. I don’t think that I would want YOU as a Big Brother for one of my children.

Kudos to Brad’s Gramma who said, “now would be the time for the Good, Decent, straight men and women to be involved.” However, unfortunately, the supposed good decent straight people don’t seem to want to volunteer or make excuses for not having time to volunteer.

I think many of you are missing the real issue here. The issue is that there are many boys and girls growing up in single parent households. Divorce rates are on the rise. And, I don’t think you can really blame that on the “homosexual agenda.” Men and women, but especially men, are not taking responsibility for their offspring and are leaving it up to others to raise their children. If you think that it is up to you to “save” these children from homosexuals, then get up off your lazy rear-end, stop ranting and raving with your internet postings and volunteer to make a difference in the lives of some of these children.

One final thought, God calls us to be “the light of the world.” What kind of light are you being? Just think, you might be the only person that someone sees Jesus reflected. What kind of reflection are you giving off? A reflection of love and acceptance or a reflection of rejection and hate? And of those two reflections, which one is painted of Jesus in the Bible’s New Testament? Chew on that!
